Mid round QBs, who are you eyeing? (1 Viewer)

Unless I can get Brees or Rodgers in round 2 i'm again waiting until after round 5 for a QB. Who do you like in the 10-20 range that be a decent enough starter for a strong fantasy team at WR and RB?

if Luck gets to me in 6 then great - but if not I'll try RG3 depending on how the preseason looks. Cutler is a sexy pick given all the Trestman hype, but I'm not sure I'd want him without a strong back-up….like Ben.

I've been targeting one of Cutler and Roethlisburger and trying to back them up with Tannehill, Palmer, and/or Locker later. I'll overpay for Cutler by a round if I need to.

None before rd 7. Will have any combination or rb-wr-rb-wr-rb-wr in rds 1-6. Maybe Kaepernick in rd 7 or 8? Might look at Bradford in last rd too. He will break out this year. Was on pace for 30+ TD's last year and 8 INT's and over 4000 yds.

RG3. If I miss him, then Cam or Kaep, or wait and get whoever out of the top 16 (likely Wilson, Rivers, Cutler, or Roethlisberger).

Possibly Brady around the 6/7 turn, after I have my core of 5-6 RB/WR. This will only hold up till drafts if Gronk looks good, otherwise I would pass on him at that point.

Or wait until around the 8/9 turn and look for Rivers, Cutler, or Rapelisburger.

In some mocks I've pushed it to the 10/11 but it can get ugly pretty quick waiting that long.

Romo is almost always value b/c his bad rap in big spots.

Dalton has been my go-to in this category the last 2 years (I think I got him in like round 9 last year).

I love me some Hue Jackson and while I think the offense overall will be better, I think Dalton comes with a ceiling this year that bumps him down a little bit.

I think Luck is going to go earlier than folks expect around here.

Still focusing, but there's a lot of guys good enough to be a fantasy QB1. Probably going with the strategy of back-to-back mid-round guys myself.

-QG

Brady - but rb roster depth , and some nice wr "reaches" at his ADP

Luck - worth the draft spot imo, but 6th is a steal

Romo- good last QB on the board as always

10th- Eli/ and whoever

I won't overpay for Cutler, but otherwise agree with everything you wrote.

Big Ben is :moneybag:

Romo is great and all, but he's lousy in December - when you need him the most..

Russell Wilson, Kap, Rivers

Fitzpatrick is going to put up decent #'s in O'Brien's offense..

Flacco's #'s should improve

I'm a believer in Kaep this year. Slightly worse defense, adding Johnson and getting Crabtree back. Possibly a slightly worse running game. Another year of experience. Not crazy about the division and would want a good option for the Seattle games, but as the 11th QB off the board I think he has decent upside.

Romo seems to be going really late and he should put up some big numbers with that terrible defense of his.
