I'm curious to hear how Passes Defensed are measured. In particular, I have two questions:
1) Much like stat crews differ on the definition of an Assist, are there crews that are known as being more generous in awarding Passes Defensed? If so, which ones?
2) What are the exact rules with how PD's are awarded on interception plays? I know that generally, INT's count as PD's as well, but what about the instance where the pass is deflected by one player and caught by another? Is the deflecting player awarded a PD? Is the player who catches the ball? I don't know the protocol on this one.
