80's / 90's TV and Movie Crushes (1 Viewer)

Katie Holmes from Dawson's Creek

Rachel Leigh Cook from She's All That

Elizabeth Shue from Karate Kit, Cocktail, and The Saint

Loved Nicole Eggert from Charles In Charge

Topanga from Boy Meets World

Elizabeth Shue was the first one I thought of.

Nicole Eggert

Lori Loughlin was in a lesser known film, Rad

More 80's: Kari Wuhrer on Remote Control and Deborah Foreman.

More 90's: You know, I used to feel bad that I would watch Beakman's World only because of his spunky assistant, but then she turned out to be an 18 year-old Alanna Ubach.

80s: Leah.Thompson. Even now I see her as whe was in All the Right Moves.

90s: I'm putting the 90's version of Jennifer Jason Leigh ahead of the 80's version. I know she gave us Fast Times at Ridgemont High, but I thought she looked better as she got older, and as much I like seeing the skin, I just liked her more in some of her 90's roles like Hudsucker Proxy and Single White Female.

YES! Good one.

And my wife actually hung out with her for a few hours in Vegas. Said she was a cool chick.

She was so hot that I'd get mad seeing her because I knew I had zero chance at her, and I think I've always subliminally disliked Colin Quinn and Adam Sandler because they got to be so close to her. Oddly though I never disliked Ken Ober, God rest his soul.

:o seriously?

Last thing I saw her in was some ultra-terrible movie and it looked like she'd aged pretty well.

Wow, never knew Ober passed away.

no schtick.

just saw her a few months ago at some kind of industry/fan meet and greet she AND wurher came to in NJ (they roomed together, IIRC). wife reports that wurher fell of the wagon in a big way and was kind of a ####-block to the two of them trying to catch up when my wife went to hang out with megan.

megan is great- and still looks basically the same, which hurts her for casting- too young to be the matriarch, and too old to be the leading lady or love-interest. I always thought and think that she'd be great in a sit-com. her last main thing was a leading role on General Hospital for a couple of seasons... I think she modeled her character on my wife.

Wait - am I reading this right? Wuhrer and Ward were roomies? OMG the possibilities here are endless. :towelwave:

I had so many back in the day, and a lot of them had been listed - Eggert, Leah Thompson, Thorne-Smith, etc.

Couple of mine that I hadn't seen mentioned were:

Star from The Lost Boys

Melody from Hey Dude
