We are looking for highly active, and dedicated owners. Experience can be earned, activity is what we want!

Just curious. If they are essentially two 16 team leagues, why not just take the 16 owners who are sticking around and start one 16 team league?

We could do that, but have had fun and success running the 32 team formats as it creates a very active and highly competitive atmosphere with the larger pool of owners bantering and competing. We actually launched the site with 32 teams, 2 copies of players with no split conference last season, but the MFL software could not handle it without the split conferences.

So as commissioner, and my Vice Commisioner, we were forced to track all of the salaries, contracts, penalties, etc on a seperate spreadsheet that owners had to access to identify their finances, values on the 1st won copy of players since MFL would only show the 2nd copies value, and it become very tedious for owners to track and commissioners to upkeep.

So, with MFL's limitations, we have opted to go with the split conferences as its the only way to allow MFL to do the majority of the record keeping and keep it simple for owners to track all aspects of a very detailed league.

With that, we found several of our owners were not able to put in the level of activity we want from our owners, and took the reboot opportunity after year 1 to improve the overall quality of our owners for the relaunch. We actually have 21 owners sticking around for the relaunch after losing a few to the changes, activity expectations not being met, and the standard turnover of owners cutting back. So to get down to 1 16 team league we would have to remove 5 of our loyal owners which is not something we would want to do.

2 new owners have joined, so we are currently looking for 9 more owners to get started!

alot of views, with few responses thus far from FBG. What questions can I answer?

We have 8 slots remaining, and would love to add some highly active owners to what will be a very competitive and enjoyable league!

I have too many leagues now, but it might help others if you put a link to last year's league. Some may be interested to see how the scoring compare's between coaches, QBs, IDP, etc.

The link above is to last years league. We are keeping the league skeleton, but clearing out the rosters for the reboot. So, all scoring, lineups, etc, will be current with what we are doing.

The major changes, and reasons for the reboot, is MFL can not maintain the records for duplicate player contracts/salaries in a 2 copy per league setup. So, we will be restricting the league to 1 copy per conference so that MFL can process the info rather than having to manually enter and adjust every salary for 32 teams, every drop, every auction, and track a seperate spreadsheet for all owners. We really wanted to keep full league trading open, but MFL simply cant allow that function at this time and the upkeep of manually doing it was a nightmare for both commissioners and the owners to keep track.

I appreciate the feedback CJW! Will repost the link here, as I think a few owners said the links stopped working in some of our ads.
