Who are the "big play" guys for week 16 that are still availab (1 Viewer)

Looking for a list of players (throwing idp rankings out the window) that have potential of putting up huge numbers this weekend based on the matchup - like maybe a CB that has a better than average chance of an INT, a DE that could get multiple sacks, etc? Who is everyone taking a last minute look at or rolling the dice on for championship week?

Brandon Graham at LB (D. Morgan was a good big play swing to take at LB this week too, but he played last night. He actually paid off).

Jacquies Smith at DE. Bulaga out for the Packers, IIRC.

I'd second the above ^^, but I think bulaga might've been at practice yesterday.

I liked graham a lot more when I thought trent williams would be out, but probably starting him in one league, anyway.

check the casualties thread for news on strting tackle injuries, or check here and sort by tackles.

oniel cousins might be one to target, dallas thomas (or his back up?), the sf line, etc

here's a little write up on the washington line issues

I don't know if you listen to the idp podcast, but they do a match up segment at the end you might want to check out.

think nick moody in sf might be a good spot play vs sd -- don't know if that constitutes a 'big play' guy, but there could be plenty of tackle opps for him and maybe even sack potential -- he almost got wilson last week.

I don't want to say he's another borland just because he's filling in for the guy, but borland was certainly one of the bigger play guys from that position the last few weeks.

for big play db's I usually tried to stream against cutler, but that's out this week.

love to hear some db spot plays if anybody's got any.

One I was looking at is Darius Slay at CB. Going up against Clausen - maybe he throws an INT or 2 in that game.

I think I'd only like slay if I thought he might be on alshon all game -- I tried to get quin when I thought it was still cutler, but the guy I'm playing actually sniped him :sadbanana:

I'm wondering if trestman can actually make this dude look good in that offense, and if it's a lot of stuff to forte and bennett, so I'm not as anxious to target him, but you'd think alshon should still get a ton of targets.

Yep, I like Hodges, my opponent beat my claim for him. I got stuck with Sam Barrington who I like but the matchup bites. I'm debating between Sam and Foote for my last LB spot.

A sneaky play that certainly has some risk is Todd Davis, looks like he will be starting at WLB for Denver on Monday night. When Trevathan and Marshall both got hurt last week he took over and actually called the defensive plays old school style (Marshall and Trevathan) had the green dot helmets. I also like the matchup, Cincy runs a ton and someone is gonna be making those tackles.

Again, some risk here as we don't know if he will be a three down player, but everything I have read, they like him and Del Rio says his style smart and athletic is exactly what he wants in that position.
