tackle opportunities vs tackle opportunities allowed (1 Viewer)

Tackle opportunities allowed are the number of times a receiver (wide receiver, tight end, running back, etc.) could be tackled, but sometimes the tackler misses. Therefore, tackles made are the ones that the tacklers make out of the opportunities given.

Tackle opportunities = number of opportunities a defensive team has seen per game

Tackle opportunities allowed = number of opportunities per game allowed by an offensive team
