Chicago could be the hot spot for young stud LBs, Khaseem Greene behind an old Briggs, the strongside battle between young convert DE Shea McClellin and UDFA Christian Jones, and an impressive performance by spot starter MLB Darryl Sharpton.
The 3 young injury-replacements (Greene, Jones, Sharpton) held the Falcons to just 42 yards on the ground last week. It's a situation full of potential, certainly for McClellin/Jones who one of which will start at strongside, and Greene, who would presumably take over Briggs' spot once he is done in Chicago. Sharpton is an outside shot behind DJ Williams and Jon Bostic, but showed what he has to offer.
