Carolina at Minnesota (1 Viewer)

3 and out for Carolina. Cam sacked after two runs that went nowhere. Also, a punt that went nowhere. Not a good start for the Panthers.

 
Unlike Frazier, Zimmer is intelligent enough to defer after winning the coin toss. Vikings with excellent field position after the Panthers 3 and out.

 
Vikings DF is already legit, they should look even better when they shore up some of the talent problems they have.

 
Weather is more then likely going to have an effect in this game.. Winds are steady 16mph out of the NW and gusting to 25.. Temp right now is 11, but feels more like -5 or so and the temps are actually going to be falling throughout the game..

The first punt of the game showed the affect the temps can have as it netted 25 yards and left the Vikings in great position to get that TD to Rudolph.. :thumbup:

Welcome to 2013 ;)

Dome is gone, new stadium is being built.. Until it is built they are playing outdoors at the University of Minnesota's outdoor stadium.

Not that far away - projected open for the 2016 season

 
I know it is only the 2nd quarter but the Panthers have no sense of urgency. They take the maximum time on almost every play.

 
Kind of chippy for two teams that don't see each other that often.. Guess Carolina doesn't like playing in the cold weather so taking it out on the players ;)

 
Great time for a sack.. Now if the Offense can just do something here and take advantage of this great short field again.. :popcorn:

 
The announcers talked earlier that this crew throws the least amount of flags and it is showing.. Obvious Face mask there on Teddy and yet :whistle:

 
How many IDP points does Griffin have? Career game. He actually living up to his big contract.
