I find it amusing that the NFL draft (still weeks away) gets higher billing on sports talk/news than the active NHL playoffs

 
Why in the world would anyone sit down and watch the announcement of the NFL schedule for 2014?

The starting times are important so people can plan their drunken parking lot fights in advance.

 
It makes no sense to me. Neither does watching the NFL Draft. Save yourself multiple hours and just look at a recap in the morning.

I can understand wanting to watch the draft but agree with you about the schedule (especially with so many other great options on tv tonight)

Watching the schedule release is stupid. The draft however is entertaining to me.
