IDP depth strategy question (1 Viewer)

So I'm fairly new to IDP leagues and I was wondering which position is best to accrue depth. Like RB depth on offense is the general best strategy, what positions on defense are similar?

My league starts one DT, DE, LB, CB, S. The scoring is standard with roster limits. I can only carry two at each position with a max of 2 on the bench. So basically I want to know which of these IDP positions are best for depth (positions I should carry two players instead of one).

My philosophy last year was to carry 2 DT and 2 CB because those positions are harder to find consistency. This way I have a better chance at hitting on a player doing well. LB seems really deep since we only play 1 and S, DE are a dime a dozen.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated because I would love to expand my fantasy football knowledge on defense. Thanks!

In season fee agent Position scarcity is heavily slanted in my opinion.

Also, the possibility of finding an undrafted gem just as slanted.

So...

LB worth twice as much as DL.

DL worth twice as much as DB.

Maybe not exact. But that how I feel.
