Lost week 1 by 2 points. Looks like I'm losing this week as #2 or #3 top scorer to the #1 top scorer. Same thing as what happened in week 3. I figured I was due some rotten luck after way too much good luck last year.

Same boat as you man. Bad luck. I am not quite 1-3 yet but I'm down 3 with Gronk to go and opponent has Edelman. Week 1 I was 2nd highest scoring team and lost to highest. Week 2 had a miserable week but wasn't blown out. Last week I blew up and was highest scoring. I can pinpoint my issues to inconsistent #2 back and Coradelle Patterson doing nothing.

I loved this team when I drafted it...

RB - Lacy/Stacy/Gerhart/Miller/Starks
WR - Dez/Alshon/Torrey/Watkins/Wallace/Quick
TE - Olsen
Sitting at 1-3, and this was really the first week I looked competitive. Every player I started other than Olsen scored a touchdown, including 30 points from Romo. I still lost.

Guys like Luck, Gio, and Jennings have been propping up my scoring (and I'm in the top third of the league in that). This week was my first blowout loss. The other two I can trace to a single roster decision. Week 1 I should've started Patterson over Allen. Week 3 I should've played any DST besides the Texans (and their -1 point
).FBG "Rate my Team" had me being a lock for the playoffs even with mediocre management. I guess they underestimated how monumentally I can suck.

That team on paper looks unstoppable even after week 4. Crazy how inconsistent this season has been.

LOL. Yep, Defending 2-time champ, but 1-3 in my keeper/dyno and looking shockingly bad thus far. 14 teams in the league and I'm in 12th place. Rosters of 30. Keep 25. Relatively standard scoring (nothing wild). Team still looked great on paper a month ago. Number in parens is the number of starters at a given position:
QB (1): Brady, Geno, Bridgewater.
RB (1): ADP, Shady, Charles, Knile Davis, Ellington, McKinnon
WR (1): Megatron, Demaryous, Keenan, Andre Johnson, John Brown.

QB: Brady/Eli (just picked up and started Eli this week, losing anyway)
RB: Bush, Ivory (Ryan Mathews, Terrance West, Blue)
WR: Nelson, Demaryius (Wallace, Wright, Greg Jennings)
Flex: One from the above
TE: Witten
K, DEF

Some of it is operator error. My defenses average 13.4 points per game in weeks when I bench them and -9.7 points per game in weeks when I start them.
