Noteworthy Cuts List (Friday/Saturday Only) (1 Viewer)

Dinsy Ejotuz

ETA: this is mostly only relevant to deepish dynasty leagues.

Just saw that Dion Lewis and Nate Burleson got the axe in Cleveland.

BJGE in Cincinnati.

Terrelle Pryor in Seattle

Henry Josey out in Philly, with Polk reportedly going to make it.

So since when is Demps, Leshoure and Seastrunk noteworthy?

Were they not bottom of the roster lucky to make the team guys anyways?

Note: if you play in 6-team leagues with 10-man rosters or think Brandin Cooks is a deep dynasty sleeper this thread is not for you.

If we were going to list guys that were highly likely to make a fantasy impact this year, this thread would be 0-1 posts long.

I think Leshoure and Seastrunk are relevant for deep dynasty.

Leshoure is owned in 7% of leagues according to MFL. Demps didnt even register a percentage. Seatrunk is a rookie and some may roster him, but those in the know knew he was a long shot.

So yeah nice try with the 6 team remark but do your research, those players are not noteworthy or even rostered in 12 team 25 man rosters regardless of your beliefs.

Thats why some of us are sharks and some are not.

You can change the title to any one who is cut, but this is a noteworthy thread. So if only one noteworthy person gets cut, so be it.

Here is someone noteworthy and maybe on fantasy rosters.

Dolphins waived RB Daniel Thomas
How is that any more noteworthy than Leshoure?
Because he was actually playing in games and started a few just last year. How did Leshoure do last year?

Wait dont answer that, I'm a Lions fan.

Again, just change the title so people are not mislead with noteworthy cuts, with any one cut.

You do understand this thread is for players being cut Friday and Saturday, and noteworthy is subjective, no? If you don't like the thread, don't read it.

If he were to change the title of the thread for accuracy right now, it would be "False Start Gets Panties In Bunch In Here."

Got some news on cuts, but I gotta do my research first, and going to then submit them to False Start. If he give me the go ahead, I will post them.

RB Chris Ogbonnaya got cut by CLE. Yeah, not really a first rounder, but he was kinda useful during bye weeks in deep PPR leagues last season.

For the haters of this thread, this is relevant. Not necessarily due to the player getting cut - but that this portends increased pass targets for whoever is starting at RB for the Browns.

Tavarres King, WR Carolina (WR getting cut by the Panthers.......not a good sign for his prospects).

Kelvin Sheppard, LB by the Colts.

We play dynasty here, too.

Some would argue that the sharks would be paying attention to the players that get cut since any piece of info is valuable, but maybe that is just me.

I did not expect Dion Lewis to get cut. That must mean that they think that the Crowell kid is legit.

The fact people cant separate noteworthy from not is funny.

Clearly noteworthy people are players on fantasy rosters, recently relevent or big names. Hence, noteworthy.

Demps? Seriously? Leshoure? How many games was he active last year? Oh and how many games was Thomas active for?

Leshoure 2 carries for 9 yards, Demps had 4 touches for 35 yards in 2013.

Thomas 124 touches for 469 yards and 6 TDs in 2013.

LMFAO, yes, how was Thomas and Leshoure and Demps different. I cant figure it out. I have no clue what so ever. Pure comedy. Guess some are better at smart remarks then the game of fantasy football if they think Demps or Leshoure are "noteworthy."

Yes, that could be anyone who gets cut, but this is titled "noteworthy." Not everyone is noteworthy.

I dont know if it means Crowell is legit or just shows how bad Lewis is.

I think this shows more confidence in Tate and West in anything that they can get it done for them.

If it helps False Start, you can consider "noteworthy" to not be random backup offensive linemen and other players that can't earn fantasy points.

Regardless, this post is littered with far more posts of you and people arguing with you about the definition of "noteworthy" than it is posts of players you don't consider noteworthy. So congrats and seeing something you find to be a problem and doing everything you can to exacerbate it further.

Who does False Start think typically gets cut?
Tom Brady

Significant cuts, read the title.
Comedy hour I see, even after I showed stats of what a noteworthy cut would be and what is not.

Like I said, some are better at smart remarks then fantasy football.

But Yes, Tom Brady would be a noteworthy cut, glad some can read and catch on.

Cant believe people take it so personal that I asked for noteworthy cuts and not just any scrub. Ahhh, the internet.

Seriously dude?

Me making a case of what is noteworthy by providing context and others making it comedy hour and I'm to blame... Ahhh, the internet.

If you hadnt notice you quote me, I respond. So if you quote me again, I will respond. So if you really care, maybe dont respond to me. They have an ignore feature.

2 years ago LeShoure scored 9 TDs and averaged 10.7 standard fantasy points per game....which is pretty much double what the oh so noteworthy Daniel Thomas has ever done.

Guys, he gave you the stats. If you can't follow simple directions, then we may have to just shut this thing down.

The Fins cut their 3rd back, that is relevant. The Brown cut their 3rd back, that is not relevant. Please try and keep up, and do some research before you post.

2 years ago, yeah, so if he was cut last year he would have been noteworthy. He was clearly inactive and useless last year with his 2 touches. But hey put up the good fight because even thouigh I make a point.

Everyone mentioned in this thread so far is noteworthy to me.

Examples of non-noteworthy: Kevin Kowalski, Chigbo Anunoby, Edawn Coughman, Israel Idonije.

Maybe he wasnt the same guy after the injury but 2013 Dion Lewis looked like at least a serviceable backup/change of pace guy. They must believe that Crowell has something that is more valuable than that.

Please try and keep on topic. I can't have your bias opinion distracting me. Please do some more research or learn from more sharky-type posters.

kthankx

Since we're looking at the past, Leshoure had a season of 1012 & 9. What was Thomas's best season again?

Not sure if :fishing: or :whoosh:

Some of us play in 32 team leagues which start 300+ players in total. You bet your a$$ that cuts and pick ups this time of year make a difference fantasy wise.

Ogbannaya too. I believe that leaves only Tate, West and Crowell. Total makeover of the Browns' running game.

ETA: if right, it might also suggests that West will be the 3rd down guy (since Tate is a trainwreck in the passing game).
