Just read that Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords is going a short tour over 5 weekends. A handful of other comics (Demetri Martin, Kristen Schall, John Mulaney, Al Madrigal, Brody Stevens, Chris D'Elia, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies and some others) will also be hitting some of the tour dates with them. Taking a look at tickets here in Denver and they are going to be pretty pricey, but depending on who all shows up for it, the show could be epic.

I'm really excited for this.

 
Appeared on Letterman last night (I think), saw his interview w/Dave on Digg today. Doesn't give a ton of insight into walking away from Chappelle's Show, but seems like he just decided he was happy with the money he already has and just said "F it" to doing more of the show. Shame, one of my favorite shows ever.

Holy F'n shiz...just won a pair of tix from a radio show to Chappelle in Clearwater in April...saw him live in Orlando about 8 years ago...didn't think Id ever see him do live stand up again...tickets go on sale in 3 hours and are expected to sell out instantly...so stoked...and I'm sure its great seats.

His sketch is legendary...but his standup is strong too...maybe not all of it, but he had one good Comedy Central or HBO special that was great...and the only time I saw him live was one of the best shows I've seen. I hope he is truly back and back to being Chappelle.
