Window tinting for the house (1 Viewer)

Anyone try this? Is it worth it? I have a huge arch window that im trying to buy a shade for and the ones im seeing are close to $350.

that side of the house gets hit with the southern exposure which turns the kitchen into a sauna. not sure how much heat a window tint can block out.

We had a number of new double-pane windows installed two years ago ...I've been very pleasantly surprised how nicely those windows block out the heat. I'd expect a window tint would have the same positive effect.

Did this on our Window in the cathedral ceiling. It used to have a curtain. Anyway it's more a privacy film. You can see out people can't see in. It is not dark it is almost a mirror. From the outside you just see reflections and on the inside it's just tint.

Bet here in VA, you'd cover that in AC savings over a couple of years!!
