What exactly is the number of Rounds in the waiver request set up? The drop down window gives you from 1-8.

We just want it to be where if the number 1 priority uses his priority for a pick, he goes to the back of the line. However, we do want people to be able to put in as many requests as they would like. So I am not sure if we want 1 here or 8 in the "Rounds" window.

From the 'need help' link on this screen:

"Max. Rounds for the Weekly Waiver Wire - Each waiver request period may have up to eight rounds (this does not apply to the other types of waiver defined above). Each franchise may select waiver requests for as many rounds as defined by the league. When the waiver requests are processed, each franchise will only receive one player per waiver round before any franchise will receive two players. When set to the maximum of eight rounds, a franchise could at most add/drop up to eight players in one waiver round."

(I read this as it should be set at 1 for us...right?????)

Think of it like your draft. Each waiver wire round is the same as a draft round. You can have one round of waivers each week, or you can have up to eight rounds of waivers each week.

Okay, but am I right to assume that if I put in 8 that the owner with the highest priority will not get to use his priority 8 times in a row? That he will use it and then go to the back of the line?

No, you're talking about two different things. Number of waiver rounds is how many players can be taken by a single team in one waiver period. It is completely independent from the waiver priority order in each of those rounds, just like # of rounds in the draft is completely independent of draft order.Set your waiver rounds to whatever you want the max # of players that can be taken by a team in one waiver period. If you don't want to limit it, set it to the max, 8.Then go to Setup -> Custom Waiver Order and then click on the Waiver Request Setup link. If you want the last place team (or whatever criteria you use) to get highest priority in every waiver round, then choose the top button. If you want priority to be serpentine like a draft, where last place gets 1st priority in the first round of waivers, and gets last priority in the 2nd, choose the middle button. If you want it so that record is ignored and instead whenever a team picks a player they drop to the end of the list, choose the bottom one.
