IMO, despite the mini-hype from camp, he'll be depth behind Stephen Cooper and Tim Dobbins next season. Dobbins looks good, Cooper is about to get a juicy contract extension, and I really don't think the coaching staff/front office sees Wilhelm as a major part of their future -- they tendered him at a no-compensation level in RFA this year.Of course, if there's a new coaching staff next season, all bets are off.

Looks like Wilhelm and Cooper will be the inside linebackers for the Chargers for the future, starting next season. Wilhelm in Edward's spot and Cooper in Godfrey's spot, I would guess.

This would severely dent the huge (dynasty) sleeper potential of Cooper that has been discussed all season long in here, wouldn't it?

Assuming Edwards is all but gone there will be serious competition between Godfrey (who said he plans to come back), Cooper, Wilhelm and Dobbyns
