ok im getting pumped! (1 Viewer)

Man, I forgot just HOW GREAT Bo Jackson was.

IMHO Best RB ever to play in the NFL, at least in my lifetime ('76).

Interesting to see the Bo/Marcus Allen two-back sets. I didn't remember that.

Bo's stats in the last clip were 9 rushes for 171 yards and a TD, c'mon Bo that's only 19 ypc.
Men that size were not meant to move that fast. Damn I would love to have seen what the guy could have done with a full career.

1998 NFC wild card game -- I was there. Could not talk for days I was so hoarse from cheering.
I was at that game as well sitting in seats right behind the endzone where TO caught the ball. I was screaming so loud I couldn't talk for days either.Another one where I totally lost my voice was the playoff comeback against the Giants. I was there for that one too.

We got a lot of help from the refs in those games. Rice clearly fumbled and the Niners clearly committed pass interference on the Giants botched field goal attempt.

Either way, I almost shed a tear for how great the niners used to be when I saw that Young to Owens pass.

:goodposting: He was built like Earl Campbell but could run like Darrell Green. That's just unfair.

Speaking of Darrell Green . . .

Green catches Dorsett from behind like he's shot out of a cannon

Green's playoff TD return vs. the Bears (where he suffers a sports hernia on the play)

Green catches Dickerson from behind

Walter Payton was the definition of heart and tenacity.

One of the few players I think of not only a great player, but also a great man.
