Portis is currently listed as Questionable, meaning he is officially 50/50 for monday night. I own Portis in all 3 of my leagues and intend, at this point, to bench him in favor of Fred Taylor in 2 leagues and Mike Bell in the other. I specifically targeted Portis in all leagues as he is a steal IMO and will still produce Top 10 RB by season's end. I therefore went RB heavy for just this week 1 scenario, and did NOT grab Duckett or Betts.
If there is good news between now and Monday I would consider inserting him into the line-up, but it is still rather risky IMO for this week.
Other Portis owners - what are your other options and what is your drop dead decision date on whether you are starting Portis or not. Is practicing on Friday good enough (if he does), or do you need to hear "Clinton is good to go" out of Gibbs mouth and see him upgraded to "Probable?"

What's your thinking there??I'm deciding between Ahman and Portis. I'm just hoping for a definitive answer by Sunday, and as someone said up top, the next two days of 'Skins practice should give ua a pretty good idea whether he plays or not. Be patient, we have a few days to go...
if Bell has a good game and Portis doesnt play. I dont expect too too much from old Keenan this season really.Or do the same with Troy Williamson . . . double hmmmm.
