Welcome to the start of the 2006 season.

Once the game kicks off this thread will be pinned, but for now it will run on its own merits.

Please provide your thoughts, pre, during and after the game.

Remember that not everyone will be watching this game, so if you could provide detailed analysis it would be much appreciated.

Things like 'Go Reggie' aren't what we are looking for.

Why will team X win?

Who is the QB targetting?

How are the lines looking?

Who's running the ball well?

Who looks in over his head?

Who's injured (also reference this in the injury thread which will be created once the sunday games are live)

Anything that you think will be of benefit to someone not watching the game or who doesn't care about your fantasy team.

Post game analysis, in particular is what we want to see.

Collins and Chris Brown will start.

Vy will play (a few select plays, <5/6) and Henry will spell Brown.

Volek will not be active; will be the #3 emergency QB.

LenDale will not be active.

Bironas will be a fantasy play.

Givens hasn't taken a snap in pre-season though he is now said to be healthy and starting.

Chad Pennington's arm may land in section 137 if he attempts to throw a deep out.

Kevan Barlow will quit once Robaire Smith and Phat Albert land on him.

Titans 26-13.

I actually think L Coles & C Brown will have good games!!

LMAO! Collins, who still doesn't know the offense throws 3 INT's, and gets sacked five times. Young comes in for three plays and runs for one TD. Jets, 23-10. Pennington throws a deep slant to Brad Smith for a 60 yard TD. Either that, or a reverse! :yes: :D

30 yard throw and 30 yard RAC. That's deep for Penny.

If there's a worse team in the NFL than these, I'll be surprised.

At least they both have elite Linebackers.

 
was that pass that was way behind Bennett tipped? It looked like it to me. If it was then Collins didn't look half bad in that 1st drive.

 
Can someone tell me why a DB would play 10 yards off a WR in a 3rd and 8 situation and then proceed to back up after the snap - keeping the 10 yard cushion entire time!

Bump at the line!!! Come on!!!

The "guess so" comment was because of the completion not me being an Ahole because I demand a response in 2 minutes. Should have noticed the games threads for posting....thanks

This should have stayed in its own thread where I posted it...this is much bigger than just the Titan vs Jets game. Many owners of him might like to know! :2cents:
 
Here's something I don't understand... The Titans had trade offers for Volek last year. They decided to keep him and instead of starting him, tried to trade him this year and decided to start a QB they picked up 2 weeks before the season started.

WTF?

 
Pennington looking sharp thus far... I was pretty big on him this year, targetting him as a QB3 in a lot of leagues.... this is against TN but he looks great so far.

 
Homer here, but Chad is looking nice. Coles seems to be the #1 target. Passes are VERY crisp. The INT that was called back for a penalty was a tip, not a bad pass.

Another 20 yard completion to McCareins as I was typing this.

Ryan looked HORRIBLE there. HE looked surprised to have caught it.. then puts the ball on the ground.... then fails to tackle the guy for like 3-4 yards.

 
Talk locally has been that YOung would be in for a series or two regardless of how the starter was doing.

BTW, if you do not have this game locally, consider yourself lucky. It is ugly
