I know FBG last year allowed us one thread to do all of our venting in....so here it is for week 1. If you made a change that cost you, etc, there is a good chance you are not alone! :hey:

I am sure there were a few of you who needed to vent Thursday about starting CPep, or not playing Heath Miller... :cry:

I know for myself, I already got hit by the injury bug with Portis, S Smith, and TJ Housh...here is hoping Parker, McCardell, and Mohammad step up! :banned: May swapping Trent Green for Jake Delhomme at the last minute not bite me!

We completed our friendly neighborhood draft Thursday as the PIT-MIA game was about to kick off.

The beer made me start Culpepper over McNabb ( :bag: ), Chambers over Boldin ( :bag: ), kicker Jeff Reed over whomever it was I drafted ahead of him ( :bag: ), and Willie Parker ( :thumbup: ).

 
For some inexplicable reason I figured Charlie Batch would throw a few INT's on Thursday......so I started MIA defense over PIT defense.......

 
I'm keeping DJax in over Clayton (TB) and Williamson

I'm keeping Delhomme (-Smith) in for both leagues (over Kitna/Leftwich & Bledsoe/Simms)

Week 1 is always the hardest. I may hate myself tonight. At least we have alot of football between now and then.

 
Already having regrets about keeping KJ in the lineup over Mike Bell.

Been burned by KJ the last 2 years, yet I again couldn't stay away from him in the 4th round this year.

I only drafted one D and that was in 15 Round. I thought putting Mia in there was a pretty safe bet. Would have been pretty average day had Miller not had the 90 yd TD that cost me close to 10 points. :lmao:

:lmao: Started Chambers in 3 leagues. Although a bench player will likely outscore him in all three leagues, I'm not prepared to beat myself up over it.The only pick in eight leagues I am agonizing over is starting Phillip Rivers over Chris Simms (I waited a LOOOONG time to take a QB in that league.) :boxing:

Is it ok to vent about the selection of games I get to watch at 1 PM??? Sorry, no Direct TV for this boy, so I get the Eagles vs Texans or Jets against Titans. :banned:

Thought you could stream in the games from Sirius so my friend was going to let me login to listen. Guess NFL games are not included from the web.

Did I mention I went against Heath Miller and the Pittsburgh D in one league? And my opponent has LT and Harrison going later today? :cry:

 
Two leagues. And roughly 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter of the games and neither team has a point total in double digits. Gotta love football.

Even more than crying in your beer is the amazing stats these sleepers, and high profile players are putting up today. I'll start.

I'm so glad I spend freaking time on this hobby. It really doesn't matter. I'm playing a divisional game this week against (IMO) one of the weakest teams in our league. He doesn't even have a real RB2 ...

While I'm sporting the all-star crew of (no TDs up to this point):

Plummer, Foster, Holt, Roy Williams, Rod Smith, MIA D/ST

He's unloading points on me with the likes of:

Ronnie Brown (2 TDs), Travis FREAKING Henry (2 TDs), Andre Johnson (bonus for > 100yds), PIT D/ST

Screw you

Palmer and CJ for no TDs

SA for running like Dee Brown

Walker for doing jack

Losing to a 1st year FF player

Nothing like your #1 pick overall getting 5pts week one, I feel like the texans

Not playing Baltimore defense is going to cost me. Played Washington instead so there still is a little hope but 23 points is hard to compare against.

I always look for the BURN on Week One from some chump. Stallworth this season. :lmao:
 
As of this writing I'm down by 50 points!!

McNabb goes off against me vs. Texicants, TGonz has one of those monster games he has only against me, and the Crows D gets a shutout AND a INT for TD. :hot: :hot:

All of this while Simms sucked out loud, on toast and alfresco. Geez, I hope TJones and Tiki can bring me back.

Fantasy football hates me. :cry:

 
TB Defense and TJ in starting line-up (had to pick the line-up before Thursday nights game when Housh was still "probable") :wall:

 
Granted, you couldn't know that T. Green would go down, but one couldn't feel good about LJ with the O-line play. Matter of time before he was gonna get killed.

Houston run game looked pathetic, the late round picks of Lundy/Morrency doesn't look as brilliant now..

Also, I picked the Panther D as one of the first few taken.. :bag:

Hate the queasiness in the pit of the stomach week 1...

I usually don't blame a loss on one player, but the Jakes are single-handled killing me in four leagues. Plummer got me -3, -3, and 6.5 (in a league where you get 1 pt per 10 passing yards) and Delhomme got me 2 points. Meanwhile, Vick rotted on my bench in three of those leagues. Lovely.

 
In one league my 2 QBs are Trent Green and Michael Vick.

Guess which one I started and which one I benched. :bag:

(I hope Trent is all right though! His injury sounded scary!)

In another league, the one where I am going against Heath Miller and the Pittsburgh D, I left the Cincy defense and their 17 points on the bench. I've got the Giants defense going so there is some hope, but still...
