DENVER (TICKER) -- The Denver Broncos added depth to their receiving corps Monday, signing wide receiver Quincy Morgan to a one-year deal.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Morgan, 28, had nine receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns with the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers last season, his fifth in the NFL. He spent the entire preseason with Pittsburgh before being released on September 2.
The 6-1 Morgan was a steady contributor on special teams for the Steelers, averaging 25.3 yards on 23 kickoff returns last year.
A second-round draft selection of the Cleveland Browns in 2001, Morgan has 164 receptions for 2,466 yards and 17 touchdowns in 79 career games with Pittsburgh, Dallas and Cleveland.
To make room for Morgan on the active roster, the Broncos waived wide receiver Charlie Adams.
