Welcome to Week 3

This thread will be pinned once it's kickoff time

15 yard penalty on Reggie Williams for acting like an NBA player.

Jones-Drew gets 18 of it back.

Then Jones-Drew gets 12 more.

His reaction was moronic, but in all fairness, the Colts defender did tackle him long after the whistle had blown. The Jags have already ran for over 100 yards!

That was unusual. Jones-Drew was 10 yards into his kick return, and the refs blew the whistle.

Apparently, the Ref had not blessed the kickoff.

First time I saw that called.

Leftwich has 9 yards passing. Hopefully all the talk about him being a good FF QB can now be laid to rest. Obviously Reggie Williams was living a lie the first two games, too.

He has nine yards passing largely because the Colts have been non existant against the run. Why throw it when you don't have to?

I think he said, "good ff qb". A great ground game is part of that. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Troy Aikman had the same thing.J

Jones-Drew = 8 carries for 87 yards in the first half. .. and to think, I nearly dropped him in redraft.

Holy Stuff, Jones-Drew just did a Houdini on a screen pass to convert a third down.

That's some of the most pathetic tackling I can remember seeing in a while.

The Jags running game is lethal.
I agree they're very strong GR, but don't underestimate how terrible Indy is.
Jacksonville Jaguars Rushing Offense at Indianapolis Colts Rushing Defense (Great Matchup)

The Jaguars come into this game on a high-note, having shut out the Steelers on Monday Night Football last week. Their stable of backs posted 30/110/0 against the hard-nosed Pittsburgh defensive front (led by Fred Taylor's 22/92/0). Taylor is the 8th ranked fantasy back through 2 weeks, with 43/166/1 rushing and 9/70/0 receiving to his credit. This team looks really strong right now.

The Colts have out-scored their opponents, but not thanks to outstanding defensive play. Over the first 2 games, the Indy D has coughed up an average of 147 rushing yards per game, and allowed 23/108/0 (a 4.7 yards-per-carry average) to the muddled Houston stable last week. Color us unimpressed with these numbers.

Taylor should come out of this game looking pretty sweet - advantage, Jacksonville.
