Fanball? (1 Viewer)

Anyone (who uses Fanball) having a problem getting onto the site? Getting the old "Site cannot be found" message.

Any insight??

Thanks...

It was down this AM when I tried to get on before work. Now it evening and time to put in claims, but its down again. Not just the leagues' servers, EVERYTHING! I give up. I went there with our league for the first year this year. What a waste. Don't make the mistake I made.

Just got credit for Jennings's 70+ yard TD, looks like everything is working fine for me.

How can this site be down?? Shouldn't they have this figured out by now??

Feeling for the people that are trying to make waiver wire/free agent pickups right about now.

Sad thing is they probably don't even know that they're down.

What a waste!

No problem. Waivers should run like normal and then you'll be able to get back in. Hope you got you claims in early.

Glad I'm not a commisioner cause tomorrow could be known as Black Wednesday!

Owners have already called me. They can't gt in either. Waivers will run as normal, yes, but not everyonw has them in. The same exact thing happened after week one; owners calling me at night cause they can;t get on and make calims. Garbage. Seriously considering demanding a refund and entering all data again into our old CBS league. They have blind bidding now?

Contrarian,

In the same boat as you are my man. I'm commishing my league and I'm pretty sure that not everyone has their claims in. Just waiting for my phone to ring from disgruntled league mates.

This blows...

I've got Mozilla and IE open. Had the homepage up in IE for asec, but couldn't load any of the links when I clicked on them. We switched from CBS cause it's more than half as less. It's not worth it. we had 8 years of data on CBS. We got burned.

It was down for about 10 minutes but I havent had any problems since.
Is fanball.com working for you?
That link is working fine. Check your monitor.
keep it in the FFA guy.
:lmao: Edited to say that if you PM bigalgreek he usually responds within 1 minute and will have an answer for you.

YWIA.
Can he turn fanball on for me? Thought he was an AOL guy.

Not with that kind of attitude he can't. Good luck with your pay service. I'm headed back to my free one that is working just fine.

At least you guys have your Week 3 results. I just checked my league a few hours ago & Portis's 70 yard run was just now being tabulated.

Hmm. Just wanted to verify my claims lists for this week, and I can't get to the site (in FL). I ran a traceroute on www.fanball.com, and there seems to be a problem after the following router:

bandcon.ve244.fr1.lax.llnw.net (69.28.144.254)

I don't know if the site is down to run claims processes, or what. Good thing I got them in earlier today. I'm in such bad shape this year that I already knew who I was going after.

Who do you think owns that router?

I've tried to access fanball all day - no luck. (Boston area)

Real Leagues and Fanball Commish both down.

This is the final straw with Fanball.. we bought the three year deal, lived thru the growing pains but this is ridiculous. As commish I can't get league access to change the claims from running tomorrow AM, pushing them off a day so everyone has equal access... I didn't purchase a service so I could back out all the transactions when it ever comes back up for me......

I guess it could be worse... these bozos could be running a hospital, or a nuclear power plant - something that's life and death. Try giving a refund then....

Even if you back out the transactions and run them agin later in the week, everyone will know what everyone else bid on players. That sucks.

I've had no problem getting into the site in the past 24 hours. It might be a problem with your computer/ISP?

:goodposting: From what I can gather from my 2 leagues on fanball and what I'm seeing on boards, is that Fanball was fine for some people and unaccessable to others, even within the same league. In one of my 2 fanball leagues there were 2 people who couldn't get on the whole day, meanwhile the rest of us could. That's going to make for some headaches with player claims.

Just wanted to add that my league was active all day yesterday and all 11 other owners were also on at some point.

This year even live scoring has been going without a single blip of a problem.

Same here,No problems all year-- so far

No problems so far this year. Live scoring was 5-10 minutes late this week starting after the first kickoff, but we've been fine. Most of our league is in CA, but we have a few in TX.

In the New England area (boston) - Fanball was down all day. I tried in the morning from home - at lunch from work, after work from home - until finally after midnight I gave up. I tried Mozilla, I tried IE.... nada

others here have reported the same thing. (so it wasn't my computer(s). )

I wrote Fanball - and this is the wonderful response I received.

Thank you for contacting Fanball Customer Service. Our site was down for a brief period last night (not the entire day), but it is up and running again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your patience. If you have any further questions, please ask.

Great to know the lack of sleep, and the fantasy football waiver claim ulcer was self-induced and not Fanball's problem. Awesome customer service.
