For people that did their homework, Wiggins was expected to have a pretty decent year. Veteran QB, question marks at WR (increased with KRob's departure), and a head coach schooled in the west coast offense pointed to a top 10 kind of year with upside for more. So far he has been limited to 8 receptions and 62 yards through three games. Furthermore, he is 17th in targets with only 11, and they have been decreasing each week. Add in the fact that his bye is week 6 and many owners could have a conflict on their roster coming up. What is to be done with Wiggins and why?

I had him as a backup and he was gone after week 2. Williamson, for all his drops is getting the downfield targets and Taylor has been seeing a good share of balls, as well.

Wiggins, from the parts of the Vikes games I've been watching (limited as it is), Wiggins, is really only being looked to on very short routes and in the flats. When he gets the balls in those areas there's a DB or a LB right on him and he just doesn't have the escapability to turn it upfield. Unless BJ starts locking onto him in the coming weeks, he just isn't being used enough to justify having him as my TE2.

I was happy with Wiggins the first two weeks. In those weeks, he had 6 and 4 targets respectively. But, in week 3, he had only 1 target. I think the Bears defense was the cause.

Johnson looks to Wiggins. In week 2, of Wiggins' 4 targets, 3 were in the 4th quarter with less than 3 minutes to play.

Due to injury (stevens), I am starting Wiggins in a PPR dynasty league. I am still optimistic about his next few games. But, most teams committing players to stopping the run, the shallow routes Wiggins runs are not as effective. I keep looking Wggins to run a seam route, but it has not yet happened. All of his catches this season have been 15 yards or under: 7, 6, 5, 15, 0, 12, 12, 9.

Wiggins has been effecient with his targets only having 3 targets not caught. I will continue to start him and hope for a 4 catch 50 yard game.
