in the bay area ( san jose ) .. and DIRECT tv just isnt a option at my residence right now

because the 49'ers are my " local " team ... and they are at home

my choices of games

A.M - Wash vs Giants -- only game on

P.M - san fran vs Oakland - only game on

no choices at all . and no philly T.O game

I know DIRECT NFL TICKET is the way to go .. but with what thousands of the public pay for cable t.v .. you would think there would be choices at least ...

 
Looks like I picked the right QB again between Alex Smith and Brees. Go Brees! Wow, he looks pathetic so far.

 
I have Ahman Green. Last week I picked up Herron and put him in my line-up and he put up a zero. This week I put in Fargas and Herron goes of. :loco:

 
Needed a QB today, with Hasselbeck on a Bye and Green out. So dropped Travis Henry for Johnson on Thursday.

Yep, PERFECT time to drop Henry.

Brees is such a bust. He's a terrible fantasy QB and a terrible NFL QB. Gabriel is over-hyped. He should be cut.

 
Why did I not start Deuce McCalister? That's right I started Shockey in the FLex instead in a PPR. Genius.

I needed a pick-up-and-play option for defense this week. I went back and forth, back and forth between New Orleans and KC. Finally picked KC at the last minute.

That's working really well so far. :thumbdown:

 
I am ####### elated that Driver ended up starting today!!! Made it a lot easier on me, as I was able to bench Lee Evans against that Chicago D.

Benched Galloway, didn't commit on picking up and starting Jennings. Started Kevin Jones because I didn't think Westy would play. Oh Woe Is Me!

 
I'm a Jets fan. (I win!).

Oh, and I can't even turn this damn game off because I'm getting a "broken" feed from Fox right now.

 
Looked like the game was well in hand.

Then I have Fitz and TO with two catches through the first halves.

 
Maurice Jones Drew is killing me. I need every pt i can get from Fred!!! Sheesh!

Also,

I struggle all week on who to start with TJ off. Do I go Bruce? Jennings? Evans? Bryant? I go Steve Smith and Bruce. 2 catches for 23 yards later. Good grief. Meanwhile, Jennings goes 100+ and a TD and Evans goes 94 and a TD.

Who the #### would have ever thought that starting lineup of 5 players would yield 30 points? I was picked to be the second best team in my league of 16 players and I'm currently 16th.

I always leave tons of points on the bench in both my leagues. And I am using the Lineup Dominator. My percentage of possible points scored is very very low. Losing close games totally sucks when you know that 1 lineup change could have won it for you.

1) Lost to a kicker this week. Gould vs Nedley (which I picked up specifically for this week knowing I'd need all the points I could muster.) 2nd highest score of the week, and I get a loss.

2) Could have won had I started Lee Evans over Cotchery. ( TD ONLY LEAGUE or I would have).

3) Still, I could have won if Philly had gone into overtime and McNabb thrown for one more TD. So what happens, Dallas gets it 1st and goal and decides to throw on 1st and 2nd down. The second one gets intercepted, and I'm left cussing at the TV.

Highest "Play all" in our league and I can't even stay on top of my division. Arggggghhhh.

 
CBS down all day...

Looks like I am going to drop a game based on Morency heading to the bench; Roy and Fitz getting hurt/pulled and the fact J. Kitna gave it up more often today than a broken senorita in Nuevo Laredo.

I'll lose to an 0-4 team by less than 2 points.
