cbs. statistical error? (1 Viewer)

I apologize in advance if this in in the incorrect forum. Wasn't sure where to list it.

Week 5 scoring. Cbs sportsline has Thomas Jones listed as having 21 carries for 110 yards.

I looked in the game recaps and Jones is listed as haveing 22 for 109.

I need to know which is accurate and I'm not sure where to get the "official stats".

Any info would be very much appreciated, unfortunately this is a very important yard.

This is a great reason to go to Decimal Point scoring. To answer your question, you need to look at your league rules. Each league should have a named source for final stats. Being that the week 6 games have already begun, you should also have a time limit on when a stat can be challenged.

Normally cbs updates tuesday morning and that is the end of it. I never saw a score changed this late in the week. It happened friday.

they do update during the week. i've probably seen 2 or 3 game results changed b/c of this.It all depends on elias' scoring. You actually can't these feeds online AFAIK.

Also, it's always best to check the NFL gamebook for that game, though that's not necessarily "official".

Two things:

1 - you need rules for this - here's from my league "2. Sportsline scoring is the final say on all matters. Basically whatever Sportsline shows is what the league scoring will be. The commission will NOT adjust scoring unless he receives a personal call from the NFL commissioner himself."

2 - There is a message board on MFL league that documents official scoring changes. Check there.
