NBC Sunday Night Future (1 Viewer)

I know that there have been posts concerning this, but haven't seen the following info here....

Although we won't know which games for a while, Fox and CBS have already chosen four of their five games they can protect. All games chosen were from Weeks 10-15. NBC chooses their game 12 days prior to each Sunday in question. Troy Aikman highlighted this in last weeks Sporting News.

Assuming that Fox and CBS can protect only 4 games each, what games were protected and what games would remain?

Week 10

Fox - Bears at Giants, Saints at Steelers, Rams at Seahawks

CBS - Chargers at Bengals, Jets at Patriots

Week 11

Fox - Falcons at Ravens, Bears at Jets

CBS - Bengals at Saints, Colts at Cowboys, Chargers at Broncos

Week 12

Fox - Bears at Patriots, Saints at Falcons, Eagles at Colts <---------

CBS - Steelers at Ravens, Jaguars at Bills

Week 13

Fox - Cowboys at Giants, Seahawks at Broncos

CBS -Chargers at Bills, Jets at Packers <-------- :bag:

Week 14

Fox - Saints at Cowboys, Giants at Panthers

CBS - Colts at Jaguars, Broncos at Chargers

Week 15

Fox - Eagles at Giants, Redskins at Saints

CBS - Steelers at Panthers, Chiefs at Chargers, Jets at Vikings

Looks like the dude picking at CBS is a J E T S fan.
I think he is saying those are the games that were left unprotected and NBC would have to choose from. If my assumption is correect and I am NBC I take.Week 10 - Bears at GiantsWeek 11 - Chargers at BroncosWeek 12 - Eagles at Colts Week 13 - Cowboys at Giants or Seahawks at BroncosWeek 14 - Colts at Jaguars (only because I already had the Chargers vs Broncos once)Week 15 - Steelers at Panthers or Eagles at Giants

Whoever is making these decisions at CBSshould be fired immediately.
Wouldn't it be better if we knew what games they chose before saying they should be fired?
CBS's listed protected teams are in the original post for this thread.

Just to be clear. The games above are the only noteworthy games each week as it stands right now. Fox will get to protect four of the above games. CBS will get to protect four of the above games. Those choices have already been made but not made public. To repeat, eight of the above games will be protected by Fox and CBS. NBC will have choice of what is leftover.

That makes much more sense... Thanks.Hmm... What are the top 4 games for each network? What will NBC be left with?

I've come to the conclusion that it is totally pointless to speculate on this subject, as it is way too hard to predict with any certainty how the network schedules will end up. The important thing is that we should all be greatful of this flexible schedule, which guarentees we will at least get descent games on primetime, as opposed to some of the snoozers we've had in years past.

I just hope they get it right and pick some good games. I agree it will be nice that the NFL has some flexibility.
