hijacking thread I started but...

I knew McCareins was no starter, I was sure I just knew it. He wasn't but still lots of folks thought he was a sleeper pick not too long ago.

Seems someone out there might have thought as such with Johnson.

Who else comes to mind that might be incorrectly thought of this way?

I think Johnson and McCareins are both what I would call "situation hype busts". Both looked like they should be sleepers or stars based upon their situation, not their talent or past performance. Someone has to be the WR1 on the Jets, why not McCareins? The Cards need WRs and he was a first round pick. After Boldin shines: Johnson will the benefit of all the double coverage on Boldin. After Fitzgerald and Boldin signs and Warner comes to town: Johnson will be matched up with a safety and Warner will be run and gun to his 3 WRs. Etc. We thought he should be a star or at least a sleeper based on his situation, not his talent.

I think the problem is Leinert. He is not that good. In fact he is a pretty boy that sucks at football.

Should B. Johnson be kept in a dynasty league?

I thought he had a chance to start in the future but I am worried now that he has not done much with this opportunity.

He's getting targets though right?
