Cowboys coach Bill Parcells made an interesting revelation about the injury to wide receiver Terry Glenn. Glenn missed his second day of practice with what is reported as a quad injury. Parcells revealed during his Thursday press conference that Glenn has a bone-on-bone condition in the back of one of his knees.
Because the injury was at the back of the knee, Parcells was technically being honest by saying the problem area was near the quad.
Bone-on-bone conditions can only be repaired by microfracture surgeries, but those procedures are done as a last resort. Glenn can play through this injury even though it's painful. If he doesn't practice Friday, though, he may have to miss the Arizona game.
