C.TAYLOR vs BEARS DEFENSE (1 Viewer)

I found this in PFW and it makes me think Chester might do alright, not great but alright.

Chicago

Everyone around the NFL is worried about the Bears’ run defense … that is, except for the Bears themselves. Chicago is well aware that it has given up an average of 126.2 rushing yards per game over their last five contests. And it is repeatedly reminded that its drop-off coincided with the loss of defensive captain and Pro Bowl SS Mike Brown. With Brown on the field, the Bears allowed just 74.5 rushing yards per game, but the way we hear it, they do not view this sudden lack of resistance as a problem. In fact, we’re told the Bears are more than willing to trade 100 rushing yards if it means they will continue holding opponents to fewer than 300 total yards — which had been the case in every contest this season until the Week 12 defeat at New England, when they gave up only 85 rushing yards but 354 total yards. In addition, we hear the Bears have accepted that they will give up some ground in the running game early in games before they make their regular adjustments and lock it down late. For example, the Jets managed 91 rushing yards in the first half alone in their Week 11 meeting, but the Bears limited them to just 17 yards in the second half despite a narrow Chicago lead on the scoreboard.

Maybe, but the Vikes are so one dimensional. Brad Johnson to MRob isn't very scary, I'm thinking the Bears are going to be ready for a big dose of Chester. Right now I've got DeAngelo & Tatum penciled in.

Chester Taylor questionable, misses practice

Chester Taylor - RB - MIN - Nov. 29 - 5:42 p.m. ET

Chester Taylor is questionable for Week 13 and missed practice Wednesday because of a wrist injury.

The wrist injury is a new one. Coach Brad Childress said Taylor is improving, but you'll have to watch his status throughout the week. Since he finished last week's game, we'll assume he's likely to play at this point.Nov. 29 - 5:42 p.m. ET

Chicago is hungry and mean and pissed after that loss to NE.

If I were a CT owner, I'd be praying for him to make it out of this game healthy, not his fantasy production.

CT has fumbled four times in the past three games, and Chicago prides itself of late in forcing RB turnovers.

With CHI O's likely stagnation, this game should be close enough so CT gets the rock all game, which might be good and might be disasterous if they wear him down first.

CT's been progressively more banged up each week for the past month or so, and going up against CHI's linebackers presents a high likelihood of injury.

Tiki had a nice game against them, but had other threats on that offense to take pressure off. The same can't really be said for R. Brown and especially for Frank Gore, yet they had success running against Chicago and those games were in Chicago.

I wouldn't count on a big game, but 100 total yards is certainly not out of the question. Scoring is not as easy to predict.
