A question about live scoring on CBS that's been bugging me for weeks. When games are in progress, I constantly like clockwork get some sort of "Script" message that pops up, giving me the option to "Continue" or "stop script". Happens like every minute and really screws with the live socring refreshing. I am using Firefox browser on a Mac.

I get the same thing on Firefox for PC. I've noticed that it doesn't matter if you tell it to stop running scripts or to continue, the error still comes up.

It seems to be a Firefox issue. The problem never comes up using Internet Explorer.

I use CBS Gamecenter for all the live scoring. I haven't had issues like this before. About the only issue I have with them (occasionally) is that the live scoring locks up and doesn't update regularly. I refresh from time to time and everything gets going normal.

Something was wrong with mine too, I lost the game and regular season title by 1 pt.

It's definitely a Firefox issue. Run IE instead and it goes smoothly.

Agreed, it is a FF issue. For some reason, though, GameCenter worked fine on FireFox on an older computer and a laptop -- but when I bought a new computer a year ago and downloaded FF, I started getting the script issue. Very annoying.

Even with this tweak, the Sportsline Gamecenter just doesn't work well with Firefox. After a period of time, the scoring will just cease to update. This problem never manifests itself with IE (6 or 7). The CBS Sportsline site is one of the most unreliable during times of peak traffic and their IT group is clearly not up to the challenge. Add this to the list of their IT inadequacies as it is clear they only coded the site with IE users in mind.
