Suprised that Matt Herian (TE) Nebraska got left out. He was considered one of the top TE's in the nation before his knee injury. I would think he would get a chance to show whether he has recovered.

Ronnie McGill.....This name sounds familiar... Wasn't he like a Top Propect at one time? Or is he a 2 sport player?

Rascati better get ready to go to Indy now.
I'm not counting the invitees. 35 fit my screen and a quick scroll estimates about 315 have invites. 335 is the agreed upon max by NFS and the NFL. Rascati will get an invite. I don't think I see an NFL QB there, but there certainly is potential. He has great wheels and adequate tools. It is discouraging for him not to be on the current nearly complete list. It means there's very little interest from NFL teams. My understanding is they draw a line around 300 invitations for those who have a very clear interest and a solid shot at being drafted. They get input from all the franchises. Then they have a block of invites that may or may not use based on another group who had a minor interest.

I live literally down the street from the UCA, and I've hung out with Fairooz a couple of times, very nice guy. He's great to have on your flag football team

You might be thinking of Oakland WR Ronald Curry, he played football and basketball at UNC.McGill wasn't recruited very highly out of HS, but was a surprise as a true freshman and generated some buzz. However, he has been extremely injury-prone, including most recently tearing his ACL in UNC's season finale. He won't be able to work out b/c he just had surgery in December, so somebody still likes him enough to just bring him in for a look and to be interviewed.Alonzo Coleman is a waste of a spot and Eldra Buckley surprised me too. If they brought in any lower level guys, Germaine Race, Arkee Whitlock, and Clifton Dawson were all better choices.I'm surprised Pierre Thomas and Courtney Lewis didn't get invites. Both have some upside as change of pace and returners. I also would have thought someone like Marcus O'Keith would have made more sense than some of the picks. He'll make some team as a special teams player and could have started or seen more reps on a lot of teams with minimally less talented backfields.

Quarterbacks (20)

Toby Korrodi (Central Missouri)
That is my man - he could be the fifth guy from the same D2 school to be in the pros in about a 6-year timeframe. Same school that has produced current 49er's Roderick Green and Delanie Walker.Glad to see quite a few D2 guys get invites.

who decides who makes the invite list?
It's a group effort by the 32 franchises. National Football Scouting, the host company, has no say. They compile the interest provided them by the teams. Then 300-335 of the prospects with the most interest are invited.
