Calvin Johnson ran a 4.35 this morning at the combine (1 Viewer)

BEWARE Hyper/Active 2 owners......when i say imma take him HIGH< you seen it here 1st!!!!
Easy killer - lots of us have been touting him since last year.Just curious where he actully lands.........
My process actually began in 2005 when I traded Jerry 'Clown Shoes' Porter for a guy's 1st round pick hoping it would be #1 in 2007. It was. I also told people then I was going to have Calvin on my team, that I would be dominate for years to come and I recall being laughed at. Well boys, in a 14 team dynasty. I am there now with 3 picks in this draft and #1 is Calvin Johnson. It pays to have the NFL Network. You see, I know who the top 5 WR's are and Ginn and Jarrett aren't even close. They are both going to be collossal busts.

Holy. Crap.

If you're a GM, how on earth do you not do everything possible to trade up and get this guy? Are you listening Rick Spielman?

Matt Millen...:tempting:
Being a Lions fan, yet having watched Calvin Johnson a lot this year (I live outside Atlanta), I'm conflicted. We are all snake bitten from past years of ridiculous WR drafting. But man, the thought of Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson is just............*shiver*

I think Calvin will be really good, but his hype is also great for people that own the 1.3 rookie pick in dynasty drafts. Getting Lynch there is EXTREMELY tasty

If Millen took Johnson and then received heat from Lions fans for doing so, then Lions fans deserve to watch a crappy team for all eternity.

I think you can't lose at 1.03.To me, the drop off is right after that pick.

After the Pistons fight, I wouldn't lose any sleep if the Lions suck for eternity.

The Lions have eliminated themselves from taking CJ. Martzinelli has a rule: WR's no heavier than 220lbs. They can't make exceptions as that would blow up Marzinelli's so called strict BS. CJ is 239. Yes, they are idiots and that's why they are losers.

How can the Lions take someone who has already been selected?

How do the Lions pass on him?
easy, they got burned by taking charles rogers and mike williams with their first round picks. Ppl may clown those two now but coming into the draft they were also highly regarded, "can't miss" wrs. Personally I agree that a duo of roy williams and calvin johnson would be darn near impossible for opponents to stop but I don't blame the lions for being gun-shy

Then they dont deserve a team. This is the 2007 draft. Not a "what did we #### up in the past draft".

Mike Williams was NEVER a cant miss WR.

BTW, this 40 time is nasty. Imagine being a DB and knowing that the WR you're covering is 7 inches taller than you, 50 pounds heavier, and actually a lot faster than you. Yikes.
