Yeah, you do thatA.J. Smith said:The buzz I've been hearing from my sources are that there will be a very luke-warm market for Chris Brown. Certainly there will be no team ready to hand over the reigns of their running game to a guy who has yet to prove much of anything in the NFL other than the occassional big game. One nugget of info is Dallas. I'm hearing Dallas may want to take a look to bring him in to compete with Jones/Barber for playing time. I'm hearing Wade Phillips is not to keen on Julius Jones. I'll keep my ears on it.

Brown?Paul Kuharsky, Murfreesboro Daily News Journal - [Full Article]RB Chris Brown became a free agent yesterday and reportedly has a long list of suitors. It’s doubtful he would re-emerge as an option for the Titans after falling out of favor last season.

We've had a few people who post on the board with the primary reason to just incite people and then go back to their home board and brag about how many "fish" they "caught" or what they could stir up. Posters who do that and don't have anything positive to bring to the board will have their ability to post removed.
In a similar light, hijacking threads for the sole purpose of killing them is looked at the same way.
I read somewhere there was bad blood between Brown and the Titans, so if that is true, I doubt if Brown will be back with the Titans. The irony is that with Henry apparently leaving the Titans, the combo of White and Brown (that was funny to type) would be a good, complementary one-two punch. I wonder if the Titans want at all to resign him. Anyone know?

It seems like this season teams are scrambling for rb's and at the same time quite a few teams are trying to get rid of theirs....that being said it seems most of these guys are mediocre backs at best. Lots of change however makes things exciting.More big name player trades and cuts in any off-season I can remember. Willis McGahee: Bills Looking for New Running BackRotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.comTuesday, March 6, 2007Update: The Bills are scheduled to have Dominic Rhodes and Chris Brown in for visits this week, according to The Buffalo News. The two visits are further signs that the Bills are interested in working a deal for incumbent starter McGahee, who is on the trading block.Recommendation: Years ago most trade talk in the NFL was just that, but the current market conditions seem to be conducive to more trades, so a somewhat disgruntled player like McGahee (who has an agent telling him he's worth more than he really is) could be ripe for a trade. We still give it a 50-50 chance, but this should be one of the more interesting offseason developments, and something could break soon.
IF this happens the I see Rhodes going to the Giants.I see Dom Rhodes as the odd man out.... Mcgahee to GB, Brown in Buffalo, lewis tucks his tail and goes back to Baltimore...
Why? So you can underutilize him again?http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articl...453/1328/SPORTS
• Titans running back Chris Brown will visit with Buffalo today, agent Wynn Silberman said. Dominic Rhodes met with the Bills on Tuesday. Buffalo is clearly serious about dealing away Willis McGahee, who's heading into the last year of his contract.
"He's a player that we want back," Reinfeldt said of Brown. "I talked to his agent before free agency started and I've talked to him two or three times since."
Ah, how thoughts change when your plans to re-sign Travis Henry go kabosh ...Why? So you can underutilize him again?http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articl...453/1328/SPORTS

you would think GB, Tenn or Buf would be interested in Brown. He is a good RB when heathlyDuckett to Lions, Buckhalter resigns with Philly.Chris Brown and Dillon (retired?) are all that is left in FA worth mentioning.Green Bay & Buffalo sure look like they could use an RB right now, too. Anyone know anything?
We really don't know what kind of money he's looking for. Maybe he wants $5M a season with a $15M signing bonus. So maybe all of those teams DO have interest, just not at his price point. IMO, there are quite a few RBs in the draft this year that are better than Chris Brown and don't have the same injury history and will cost a lot less. Honestly, would you rather have Chris Brown with a $12M signing bonus and $4.5-$5M a year or go after Lorenzo Booker, Michael Bush, Antonio Pittman, Kenny Irons, Brian Leonard or Brandon Jackson in the 2nd or 3rd round?you would think GB, Tenn or Buf would be interested in Brown. Brown is a third round pick with one season over 1K rushing, I doubt he's asking that much. However, he should know his best shot at making big $ is to go where he'll get an opportunity and sign a short term incentive laden deal...he'll cash in immediately if he performs and then afterwards with a better track record. We really don't know what kind of money he's looking for.
