We are nearing the point of the offseason in which many startup dynasty drafts are held. In the next three weeks leading up to the NFL draft, I will be posting a series of polls asking about how you see this year's dynasty drafts unfolding.

The polls will be based on the following lineup in a 12 team league-

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex (RB, WR, TE) K, D

As far as scoring, assume 4 points for passing TDs and PPR for all positions.

If you vote for other, please post and let us know who you voted for.

1. Ladanian Tomlinson

2. Steven Jackson

3. Larry Johnson

4. Reggie Bush

5. Frank Gore

6. Brian Westbrook

7. Clinton Portis

8. Joseph Addai

9. Laurence Maroney

10. Larry Fitzgerald

Note-- The poll for #10 was close enough that I wanted to put Manning back in with some of the other players for #11.

I think this invalidates the whole thing. It's supposed to be a list compiled by common consensus right? Putting Fitz as number 10 because that's what you think although the common consensus took 3 players before him ruins the point of this list IMO.

I didn't even vote for Fitz at #10. Whe I started the runoff poll for #10, Manning and Fitz were seperated by 2 votes and were at least 6 votes ahead of all others. Because of this, they were the only ones included in the runoff. Fitz beat Manning in the runoff poll. There is no way to close a poll, except to note that it has been decided already which I have done. I don't know of any better way to do it.

I don't it invalidates it because Manning ended up winning and Fitz beat him head to head. I don't think you can put too much stock in these rankings anyway because I think quite a few vote based on their fantasy team.

Ronnie Brown
Sell me on Ronnie. I want to like him but can't get over the fact that he's been a fantasy disappointment 2 years straight. I want more out of my 1st round pick than 1000 yards and 4-5 TDs. Miami doesn't look any better and Ricky may be back.

Oh, ok. So Fitz and Manning were close, you opened a head to head and Fitz won, and then the votes kept coming in to the "closed" poll and 2 more players overtook Fitz? Makes sense. My bad, not invalidated.

:useless: :bag:To avoid in the future, I would copy poll results in the thread so no one can question. Unfortunate that you need to do that.

People are really going to take Peyton at #11? Not that he's getting old for a QB (he has 4-5 top years left at least), but I think you're better off going with Palmer who is 4 years younger and just now hitting his prime. He has a #1 season under his belt and backed it up with a #5 finish after tearing his ACL.

No!!!! I won't have that! There has to be more people than just a few. Seriously though. the poll is more of a general barometer than it is a scientific metric. Now if you don't mind I'm off to MFL to install Fitz as my #1.11 auto draft pick. :goodposting:edit/spelling

No problem. I guess I should've explained a little better in the first place.

Well, the votes are in, apparently 26.67% of people prefer to start their dynasty drafts with almost no chance of competing.
