We are nearing the point of the offseason in which many startup dynasty drafts are held. In the next three weeks leading up to the NFL draft, I will be posting a series of polls asking about how you see this year's dynasty drafts unfolding.

The polls will be based on the following lineup in a 12 team league-

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex (RB, WR, TE) K, D

As far as scoring, assume 4 points for passing TDs and PPR for all positions.

If you vote for other, please post and let us know who you voted for.

1. Ladanian Tomlinson

2. Steven Jackson

3. Larry Johnson

4. Reggie Bush

5. Frank Gore

6. Brian Westbrook

7. Clinton Portis

8. Joseph Addai

9. Laurence Maroney

10. Larry Fitzgerald

11. Peyton Manning

12. Willie Parker

13. Maurice Jones Drew

Anyone picking Peterson here isn't paying attention..

The 1st pick for this team is Manning; then your going to pick your RB #1 as a Rookie on a bad team...

I say it should be Rudi / Brown / Mcghee.. one of those 3 would a good RB 1

I agree, but I said early on that each voter could view that however they like. I assume most will look at it as you have.

Rudi = consistency. Everyone's looking for upside in dynasty, but Rudi's the closest you can get at this point to a virtual lock for top 10 production.

Im suprised Ronnie is getting this much love, he hasnt really proven himself to be picked above Rudi, steve smith and CJ. I remember seeing the same thing last year with all the Lamont Jordan owners picking him over the proven guys, how'd that work out?

Picking Steven Jackson worked out great. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

Carson Palmer.

I think a top-tier QB is essential for success in the dynasty format, while his '07 fantasy playoff schedule against the Rams, 49ers & Browns could lead his owners to the first-up title in their respective dynasty leagues (this being a poll for a startup draft and all).

I view these as rankings, rather than a mock draft, so the fact Manning appears to be the #11 pick has no relevance on my selection. I am choosing which player I would take in a dynasty on a stand alone basis.

I'm just wondering... if M Turner had already been traded to Buffalo, would he be listed among the candidates at this point? How about Tennessee? And how many votes would he be getting? Hmmm...

We are not doing a "best player available at this spot" poll. This is a draft and the owner taking Peyton is not taking Carson at the turn. I am viewing and voting on this as a no trade, 12 team serpentine draft. Who fits the team at this spot is the logical pick. Ronnie or Rudi teamed with Peyton is probably the best for win now.

I would have to strongly disagree with your assertion. Great RBs almost always get drafted to a bad team. If you think Peterson is going to be great he is actually a good value here.

Rudi Johnson [ 17 ] [15.18%]

Ronnie Brown [ 34 ] [30.36%]

Shaun Alexander [ 11 ] [9.82%]

Adrian Peterson [ 22 ] [19.64%]

Willis McGahee [ 8 ] [7.14%]

Steve Smith [ 11 ] [9.82%]

Chad Johnson [ 4 ] [3.57%]

Carson Palmer [ 5 ] [4.46%]

Other [ 0 ] [0.00%]
