We are nearing the point of the offseason in which many startup dynasty drafts are held. In the next three weeks leading up to the NFL draft, I will be posting a series of polls asking about how you see this year's dynasty drafts unfolding.

The polls will be based on the following lineup in a 12 team league-

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex (RB, WR, TE) K, D

As far as scoring, assume 4 points for passing TDs and PPR for all positions.

If you vote for other, please post and let us know who you voted for.

(1.01) 1. Ladanian Tomlinson

(1.02) 2. Steven Jackson

(1.03) 3. Larry Johnson

(1.04) 4. Reggie Bush

(1.05) 5. Frank Gore

(1.06) 6. Brian Westbrook

(1.07) 7. Clinton Portis

(1.08) 8. Joseph Addai

(1.09) 9. Laurence Maroney

(1.10) 10. Larry Fitzgerald

(1.11) 11. Peyton Manning

(1.12) 12. Willie Parker

(2.01) 13. Maurice Jones Drew

(2.02) 14. Ronnie Brown

(2.03) 15. Adrian Peterson

(2.04) 16. Steve Smith

(2.05) 17. Rudi Johnson

Calvin Johnson needed to be added soon for us "out of the box" drafters....as well as ROY WAYNE and AJ
I would probably take Roy over Chad Johnson since he's 4 years younger. I know age is not that important for WR's but he's put up numbers nearly the same as Chad's and you might as well get the younger player.

I agree, where is Calvin Johnson? I'd take him over Wayne, DeAngelo, MB3, Holt, and probably Alexander in dynasty.

why? excuse me, and correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems charles rogers was a can't miss prospect, with glowing reviews before he was drafted. i'm not trying to compare the 2, or rhash old debates. i just don't see taking a unproven rookie early, based solely on hype, and potential. that goes for AD as well as calvin.but especially for calvin, because you can find / trade for WR's.

I guess he falls into the "Other" category for now. I can add him next time.

I'd say DeAngelo, MB3, Holt, and Alexander all have questions of their own regarding durability, age, and ability. I think too much of Johnson to take Wayne ahead of him, but it'd be a tough call.

Nothing you say is incorrect, but it is a risk/reward issue. At what point do you attempt to find the next consistent top 10 fantasy WR. It is a shot a 'greatness' versus going with something known. Different owner will value that upside more than others. I guessing there people who would not draft Johnson unless he is around in 4th round or maybe 5th. Obviously, some players are going to consider him even as high as around 20. Depending on the risk aversion of the owners in a league, I suspect we will see him all over the place in these inital drafts.
