Im suprised with the Chris Henry pick by the Titans in rd2, That guy was horrible in college. Gotta be good if you own Lendale in a dynasty league right now.

I would think this is good news for White owners as well.

Will Irons work into the mix with Rudi and Perry at all this year?

As a multi-league White owner, the selection of Chris Henry was the best possible outcome today. Dodged the Turner and Irons bullets.

That said, some sap in your league will take Henry in the top 8.

I would take henry if i owned lendale, nothing wrong with being safe.

Will Perry ever be healthy enough to stay on the field? I think thats why they took Irons, it might be a sign they're losing confidence in Perry. Actually not a bad place for Irons to land.

C.Henry was a terrible pick by the Titans .. a workout warrior nothing more .... as a L.White owner I am atleast happy this looks lke M.Turner bullet has been dodged ...... I would rather see L.White and C.Henry than L.White and M.Tuner .. which would have meant M.Turner as teh # 1 if for no other reason, would have been the price they woudl have had to give up to get him .. this atleast will mean L.White will be in the mix and gt the first crack

K.IRONS is basically the Bengals saying .. GOOD BYE to CHRIS PERRY and his injured body .....

A.PITTMAN to G.B ????

As a diehard AZ Wildcat I can tell you this was a huge reach...it would surprise me if this kid did much at the next level.

I've been saying that people on this board were overrating Pittman since day one...I think I'll bump by Jackson >> Pittman thread right now...a bunch of hacks in there telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. :o

I'll second that. All the Pittman love was just ridiculous. The guy is not an NFL running back.

This is how I see this affecting their values. Leonard and Irons are dead to me. I thought they might have value. I'll have to look into McClain. I know nothing of him. I also think that Michael Bush ended up in a good spot. He may sit for a year getting healthy behind Jordan but he won't be rushed and I don't see Jordan as the kind that it will be impossible to dislodge him.

Leron McClain is a blocking Fullback. He may get a few catches though, but he is considered the best blocking fullback in the draft, Kiper said he should be a 2nd round pick but Fullbacks are not in high demand.

I like Pittman to the Saints. Deuce will be gone soon. Pittman just will have to give Reggie some spot carries upcoming.

Or other teams with older #1 Rbs:ClevelandSeattleHoustonArizonaDenverAtlantaOaklandMaybe: Dallas if JJones leaves via free agencyIndy if Addai has a sophomore slumpTennessee if LenDale isn't all thatGreen Bay if Jackson proves to be under-talentedPlenty of spots open for a new RB next year.

UDFA signings so far:

Darius Walker - Bears: by a significant margin IMO, he was the best UDFA RB on the board. Pro system, plus hands, productive career...he is a little smaller than ideal, but about the only knock on him was average speed. I was shocked he wasn't drafted. Adrian Peterson is likely to keep the RB2 job and as a Day One pick, Garrett Wolfe is all but certain to make the roster, so Walker will be challenged to make the roster. It's a shame, b/c he won't last on their practice squad. Someone will have a need by fall.

Clifton Dawson - Indy: top returner was extremely productive at Harvard. A bit smaller than ideal, but upside as change of pace and returner. He was originally a Northwestern (Big Ten) recruit, so he was a solid prospect in HS. Definitely one of the more interesting UDFA RBs b/c he could stick as a returner and the situation is great with the offense and openings for depth in Indy.

DD Terry - Jax: Converted from defense to RB at DIAA Sam Houston and broke out in 06. Great workouts left late draft buzz about him.

Gary Russell - Pittsburgh: looked not far behind Maroney as a NFL prospect when the duo both went over 1K, and Russell set a team record in rushing TDs, in 05. Failed out and fatted up when he didn't play in 06. Disappointing workouts left him in freefall and expected to go undrafted. Still a bit intriguing, but doesn't seem to have the dedication and work ethic to make it.

Alonzo Coleman - Dallas: extremely productive DIAA player had some good workout numbers, but was expected to go undrafted. I think he's a better RB prospect than Tyson Thompson, but I believe Parcells really liked Thompson's ST work...although Parcells is gone now.

Arkee Whitlock - Min: man who once started in front of Brandon Jacobs and with outstanding individual and team achievements in college passed over primarily b/c of size and accomplishment were at lower level.

Pierre Thomas - NO: Big Ten all-purpose yardage leader in 05 struggled with consistency on bad teams and had sub-par measurables. Upside as returner.

Curtis Brown - CLE: BYU runner was solid, but unspectacular collegiate career. Same can be said of his measurables. Upside as receiver out of backfield, lots of catches in BYU's spread offense.

Kenny James - Seattle: UW product had injury-plagued collegiate career.

Steve Baylark - Arizona: another extremely productive DIAA player (he and Coleman became the second and third DIAA RBs to go over 1K four season last year) who has excellent size, but poor workout numbers. Candidate to convert to FB and offer upside as runner there.

Germaine Race - SD: best (at least statistically) DII rusher ever disappointed with workouts.

Eldra Buckley - SD: DIAA runner not nearly the prospect Coleman, Baylark, and Dawson was...and none of them got drafted.

Reggie Meriweather - SD: never established himself at Clemson between RBBC and being passed by youth.

Kyle Steffes - NYJ: kept on producing as South Dakota State jumped from DII to DIAA last season.

Best UDFA RBs available:

Selvin Young, Texas - injuries that have cost him some of his former blue chip athleticism and durability are why he didn't get drafted. Very verstile player who still has upside, though. Could bulk up to help keep healthy and be short-yardage back or talented enough catching to be looked at as a receiver. A top returner when younger, but phased out of that role later in college.

Danny Ware, GA - joins Walker as poster boys for cautionary tales of declaring early. After breakout freshman year, collegiate career derailed by injuries and crowded backfield. Good measurables and still has upside.

Jackie Battle, HOU - unbelievable workout numbers at Pro Day wasn't enough to get Battle drafted after sporadic production in crowded backfield of pass-first college team.

Ronnie McGill, UNC - durability a major problem for one-time solid prospect who tore ACL late last season and never was able to workout before draft.

Ramonce Taylor, formerly Texas - academic (kicked out of Texas, DNP in 06) and legal troubles (probation on drug possession) cost this Reggie Bush Lite prospect a shot at being drafted.

Justin Vincent, LSU - B1K runner and BCS Championship Game MVP as freshman declined each year in crowded Tiger backfield and due to injuries, including torn ACL which he actually made an incredibly fast comeback from. Size to be considered FB prospect.

Marcus O'Keith, Cal - constantly buried behind NFL talent in Bears career, has great measurables and is an outstanding ST player.

Jon Cornish, KU - surprise leading Big 12 rusher last year apparently considered a fluke when measurables didn't validate last season's production for scouts. Could opt for CFL where Canadian native was already drafted.

Courtney Lewis, TAMU - Freshman All-American saw career go in reverse each subsequent year due primarily to injuries. Showed he still had some speed at Pro Day and has some upside as returner, but durability and thin frame are issues.
