Surprised to see Marcus Thomas still there -- Bucs need a DT in a desperate way and are in position to get him...but I'm sure they'll pass.

Not surprised to see pittman or Troy Smith around...neither are first day talents.

Bush will be an amazing value pick if his medical reports have been as advertised...something tells me there may be more to the story since he didn't go day one.

Wow alot of sites had Rufus Alexander going in the later part of round 1. Reminds me of Ernest Shazor a couple of years ago.

Man, Siler was behind only Willis at one point. he's fallen like a friggin stone. wonder what he tested positive for?

I'm hoping that the Bucs select him as well - although his character issues scare me.

I think Siler ran a slow 40 time and is viewed as a project by some teams. I wouldn't mind the Bucs getting him @ round 5. :goodposting:

I hope he falls to the 6th pick in round 4, and the Lions jump all over him. If they did that, and still have 3 5th round picks, I will give them an A+ draft. I really like what they have done overall.

6 Drafted and 4-6 more should do it. Smith and Stanback should be locks to get drafted. I like Jeff Rowe and Matt Moore to get tabbed today. Zac Taylor should probably be mentioned as a possible.Smith is a polarizing player that people get a little too emotional about, but I think he is an outstanding value at this point.

9 down, probably another 9 - 12 to go. Pittman, Walker, and Wright probably made big mistakes coming out early. But next year RB is as talented and packed as I can ever recall, so these guys were all in tough spots. I hope they all get drafted. There's still a pretty long list of other possibilities, but most of these are going UDFA.Ahmad Bradshaw came out early and has a ton, a ton, of talent, but also has a serious character red flag.

Le'Ron McClain and Nate Ilaoa (versatile fullbacks) along with Snelling and workout star Jackie Battle are all the types who can help out in a number of ways and there's not room for all of them on draft day.

Selvin Young

Tyrone Moss

Danny Ware

Kenneth Darby

Jon Cornish

Thomas Clayton

And who knows if one of the small schoolers have impressed a team enough...

Arkee Whitlock

Germaine Race

Justice Hairston

17 down! Maybe 15 or so to go! What a class of WRs. Every team should get one. :goodposting: I love the two bolded, Baker and Taylor.

David Ball and Maurice Price should be getting shots today.

Matt Trannon has a ton of potential and it probably worth a late round flyer.

Jordan Kent's athleticism has supposedly intrigued a number of teams. Inexperience may send him to free agency.

I wonder if someone takes Samardzija?

Zebransky's WRs are probably better prospects than him. Legedu Naanee and Jarard Rabb. Both are hardworkers and solid special team contributors. Rabb was always making big plays, but Naanee is more interesting, (bigger faster more athletic, converted QB).

There's obvious interest in blazing kick returners so Ryne Robinson has a good shot at a shot. His teammate Ryan Moore has character issues, but as much potential as any of these second day fallers.

Steve Breaston is more than a return guy and is probably getting drafted shortly.

Brandon Myles made everything look effortless at the Senior Bowl and was snubbed for the Combine. I liked what I saw.

Filani's teammate Jarrett Hicks looked better than Filani for much of his career.

There's a few more but I want to pimp a kid no one has talked about anywhere to the best of my knowledge.

John Broussard from San Jose State is very talented kid. If James Jones went that early, no doubt many scouts got a good look at Broussard. SJSU was fun to watch last year and it was all about these two receivers. Broussard has crazy speed, made a mess of Marcus McCauley, last year and blew up at his pro day.

What a bad class this is. Three have been drafted and 40 or five more should go today. Not listed is Joe Newton, who I actually think is a decent prospect in comparison to the rest of the field. Donte Rosario is a very versatile HBack type who is tough as nails and a solid receiver. Jonny Harline finished up a brilliant career as a WR/TE tweener at BYU, but... these TEs are not impressive.

Ugh. Um yeah, if you wanted a tackle you needed to say so yesterday. Small schoolers Jacob Bender and Jermon Bushrod have made a bunch of noise with NFL measureables and are expected to be drafted. Andrew Carnahan has been and NFL prospect since HS, he just didn't improve that much over four years. Chris Denman had a big year at Fresno State. He's about as solid as this class can offer, imo. Uperesa from Hawaii is interesting because he has pass pro down pat, but isn't much for run blocking (which is a bit of a reverse of the more common abilities).

Some rock solid names still available. Some liked Beekman more than Grubbs. So much for that. I think Ramirez may be the steal of day 2 if he falls a round or so.Not much left tthough I like Jake Kuresa from BYU as much as any of these guys but Ramirez.

Kyle Young was once considered the best center in this class and a lock for day one, possible round one. All he did wrong was quit attending classes and get booted from the team. He's in Fallbrook fishing with his dad. I saw a long enough interview locally to believe this is not a character problem. In an interesting conversation he was articulate about not being cut out for classes that held no interest to him. He is a great student of football, loves film and study, but Modern Lit and Art History just bored him... to much. Like Datish center may not be his NFL position.Enoka Lucas is a solid center who spent three years battling his best friend Haloti Ngata. He'll be worth a roster spot in the NFL and could develop into an excellent center. I was talking during the season about Kalil having a perfect year in the Pac 10. Lucas wasn't far behind.

Heard good things about Dan Mozes.

This position got picked clean, 12 down, and not a lot left. Robison is reminding me of Mark Anderson. Measureable freak falling to the second day at a priority position. I'd love Dallas to nab him quickly. Atkins is going to make a team happy with his value.Justin Hickman (led nation in sacks) and Antwan Applewihite are intriguing prospects for 3-4 teams to

have a look at.

McBeeeeeeeeeeen. I love him in a 3-4. He's inexperienced but to play at his level (Carrikerish) so soon, wow. He's a beast who should be gone. Marcus Thomas is possibly the most talented player left in the draft. Idiot.

9 down and ??? to go.

Someone is going to take Walter Thomas. He should be fun to follow. Joe Anaoi was always impressive when I watched Calvin Johnson. David Patterson may be a bargain. Seems pretty thin.

Not surprised by some of the big names falling. I've mentioned to Bramel some of these guys probably don't have the goods. Rufus, Earl, Prescott... meh... they'll get drafted but that's a weak list of NFL talent and they're better than Shaw and Simpson, imo. Stephen Nicholas is now my favorite OLB in the draft. His teammate never gets any commentary in the scouting community, but don't be surprised if Pat St. Louis gets drafted today. He is better than many of the guys who had scouting profiles posted.

It was a mistake for Rory Johnson to come out early on Patrick Willis coattails, but it is no longer a mistake for a team to draft him. He is a very possible steal at this point.

Antwan Barnes is a very intriguing faller with great size and measureables.

Half dozen down, maybe 7 or 8 to go.Zak DeOssie is listed at OLB by NFL.com and he's a nice prospect. He's going to help your team on specials if nothing else. He's probably about as safe as any pick left in this draft. Some team will be happy he fell to day two.

Blades and Siler sure expected to be drafted by now. Again, I am not surprised. Like the falling OLBs, these are guys that looked great in college, but don't translate very well.

That said, Blades inside in a 3-4 is a good pick right now, and Siler has potential but he has to get mean and nasty. Bishop is mean and nasty and I prefer him to any of these guys at this point.

Mark Zalewski is a tackling machine who deserves a shot today, imo.
