Steve McNair has had a lot of summer time message board doubters. He was arrested for an interesting Tennessee DUI as his brother-in-law was driving him home in McNair's car and he is entering his 13th season at the age of 34. But, his coach was recently quoted saying, "This is Steve's system now, he knows it." Recall that McNair entered Raven camp late in preseason in 06 and he had a rather successful year going 13-3 and passing for over 3,000 yards and 16 TDs finishing as the 17th fantasy QB.

He has ample weapons with Mark Clayton, Derrick Mason, Demetrius Williams and Todd Heap. Most also feel that McGahee will be an upgrade over tippy-toe Lewis as the starting RB. McNair has been an iron man over his career often playing through injuries, but that has been less likely lately. Although he started all sixteen games last year, he effectively missed two with injuries early in the contests.

He also is going very late as QB26 and 143 overall. I think that another 3,000 yard season is a lock if he can stay on the field.

McNair 15 games 290 comps 450 attempts (64.4%) for 3195 yards (7.1 ypa) 18 TDs and 14 ints and he will add 120 yards rushing and 2 TDs

He's on my up and comer QB2 list.

Demetrius Williams.

Mark Clayton.

Willis McGahee.

Todd Heap.

Even Derrick Mason.

Oh- and all on the field at once.

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good year to me. 3300 yds, 22 TDs, 14 INT, 120 rush and 1 TD.

Solid numbers.

He might put up one or 2 good games but he's nothing more than a end of the line QB2 in most leagues. He doesnt run anymore and he now has an effective RB in McGahee to hand it off to. Plus Baltimore will never be a pass first team and wont have to pass alot late in games due to their phenomenal defense.

3000 yds, 15 tds, 11 ints, 60 yds, 1 rush td (for old time sake)
