Makes sense. If the Chiefs want to present any semblance of trying to have success this season they need to get a deal done with Johnson.

Yep, I also just saw this report during the Titans/Skins game -
I'm reading something different:
FOX: Not looking good in KC
FOXSports.com's John Czarnecki blogging on the Larry Johnson holdout: "The Chiefs will give him a raise, maybe, but they will never give him the $28 million in guarantees that Tomlinson received. I don’t see how Johnson’s holdout – apparently he listens a lot to his mother – comes to a satisfactory conclusion because Chiefs President Carl Peterson is pretty stubborn and firmly believes that no other team would give Johnson that kind of bonus money, either... The Chiefs might go halfway with L.J., but there are reports that Coach Herm Edwards wouldn’t mind trading him, believing the holdout distraction is not worth the aggravation." In our opinion the Chiefs have two options: Pay him or trade him. It's that simple. If Johnson is sitting on a couch while the Chiefs are 1-3 the fans will blame them, not Johnson.

What? I think the status of your best player is worth some "aggravation". Sounds like an uniformed report, IMO.

Fox News is also the National Enquirer of news reporting. Is it really even a "News" channel? The standard to be called "news" should encompass more than a general brainwashing seminar every night from 7-10pm.
