Check out the NEW NFL.com. (1 Viewer)

Lending yet more credence to my belief that as the internet matures, web sites become LESS user friendly.
I have to humbly disagree. All the new features are brilliant but take some time to get used to. Currently following both games using the beta version now.....the game center current drive view is pretty groovy. Everything at your fingertips, for me.

The content is fine, but the presentation is horrible.

What's with the game highlights being terrible? All passing, maybe 1 or two running plays per game... I'm disappointed.

Yeah... That means it's not user friendly.Overall, I like it though. I had no issues with the old site. I think maybe just adding more content would have been a better idea, but I'll give this more time, as I haven't had a whole lot of time to check it out. It looks like they have some bugs to work out though. I'm seeing some stuff in spanish, some missing data, etc.

Tell your government officials that cable companies are denying you access to NFL Network and its year-round programming including live NFL games!!!!!

Sign up here.

Thats good that they put this up on their site.

the search is nice (not sure if it was like that on the old version)... when you type in a players name or last name, it gives you a clickable drop down list of players with matching names

I kind of liked the old scores page better--without all the graphics and added stuff. I could just open it in one window and see live updates for every game simultaneously, now I can only scroll to see action on 4 games at a time.

From what I can tell, every player's game logs are available, dating back to 1970.

Also, the weekly leaders go back to 1970 -- did you know that Atlanta's Cannonball Butler was the Week 3 rushing leader, with 127 yards on 17 carries? Pretty cool.

The dropdown menu for the league standings goes back to 1920!

One little thing that really annoys me is that the scores header is now in flash, so there's no easy way to open a bunch of different gamecenters (i.e. you can't use "Open in New Tab/Browser Window").

Now you have to manually open new windows and navigate to the game that you want.

Flash... :lmao:

Did anyone see the fantasy files ad for Colston? WOW. Click on the 8/15 news segment in the top right and watch him be casually awesome. Maybe this is also on NFL Network, but since Time Warner hates me, this is the first I've seen of it.

Yea.. i thought it was awesome... but then I did some research and found other players on youtube... they look fake to me.

Fair enough. Either way, though, great ad. Totally awesome vibe.

I liked the old setup better as well. It had the current plays for every game. This version doesn't show the plays at all so you have no idea what's going on in the game other than down and distance. Anyone know of another site that might have that feature? It's a cool thing to check out on Sundays.

I 100% agree, I don't want to watch video clips I want to read articles....where have they all gone? They need a "written news only" section, damn it.
