Seahawks vs Vikings Game Thread (1 Viewer)

Alexander for 1

Incomplete to Strong

Weaver up the middle for 8 on a draw. (3rd down back?) That's what the commentators are saying. "They're wanting to see what he can do as a 3rd down back." Referring to the coaches.

What I don't understand is that this website PREACHES drafting for value. Drafting handcuffs is NOT drafting for value.
True, but I picked up Larry Johnson the year he broke out at 7.01 and won my league because the Holmes owner followed the advice that drafting handcuffs was guppie strategy and didn't take Johnson as a handcuff in an earlier round, like he should have.
GO HAWKS.............Im looking forward to seeing Adrian Peterson :sadbanana:

Taylor gets the start up the gut for a couple.

Taylor left side sweep for a couple.

False Start Right Tackle

3rd and long--Out route to Rice right at the sticks. Didn't get deep enough on his route.

Me too. I was pretty high on him this season and so far been unimpressed but it's still early. He's a hybrid FB/HB with really good hands and can play TE as well. They're trying to get him touches in a number of situations. Could possibly be a goalline vulture.

Hass finds Engram in the middle of the field. Nice pass blocking.

Hass eludes pressure finds Strong in the flat for first down.

Minny D put pressure and throws away first down pass from the 7 yard line. Nice Blitz.

Alexander for a couple, not much room.

3rd goal from 4--Fade to Hackett in the corner, not real close, overthrown.

As a Seahawk fan I must say I really like the defense this year....its actually the offense which worries me. The hawks don't have a TRUE #1 WR. Maybe Hackett can develop into that guy  Alexander is on his last legs IMO....I hope the Hawks get some offense in the draft next year.

You're nuts. His last legs? He reported to camp in better condition than in any other camp. He might have started the backside of his career but his last legs won't come for a few more years.

He is 31 ....... I didn't mean his career is over....It would benifit Alexander to have another RB there next year to help w/ the carries.

Peterson is very difficult to bring down. Clear difference between him and Taylor.

Nice catch by Wade. Took a good lick. He's getting targeted a lot.

He turns 30 in 5 days. What else does last legs mean? Marshall Faulk and Curtis Martin were on their last legs.

And Weaver is supposed to help in spelling SA as well.

I'm sure that RB will be addressed next year as a natural progression but that doesn't have any bearing on this year.

You don't need a true #1 WR. The Pats have never had one, we didn't when Koren was producing. The WCO spreads the ball around.

Just thinking out loud

Seattle blitzing right back at them when in the red zone. Jackson has a learning curve ahead. Looks like they run and pass just enough this year.

Try researching over guessing. Took me 7 seconds to find SA's birthday.

Hackett's still in there. Burleson can't catch worth a damn(haven't seen him yet). Hass has been targeting Engram a lot so far.

Jackson has great arm strength. I like his upside.

Peterson looks very powerful and tough to bring down, yet he also has that 5th gear that Taylor just doesn't have. He's gunna be fun to watch.

well crap...maybe I should pick him up and drop Mr. Boston. I'm sure everyone on this board will disagree since he's the sleeper of the year around here.

I know he hasn't played much this preseason, but is anyone else NOT impressed by Hasselbeck?
He shredded the SD starting defense in his one preseason drive before this game. Have to wait for the rebroadcast to see but he looked great in preweek 1.

Taylor found some holes on two straight runs to start their drive... Peterson comes in for two good runs and is definitely more explosive. Vikings are shredding the Seahawks 1st team defensive line right now...

Williamson sucks. Could have laid out for bomb in the end zone but barely held his arms out... Moon even commented on it... I'd suggest selecting Rice above Williamson if you're thinking Viking receiver near the end of your deep drafts...

Strong:We all know Williamson sucks, but any word on the Vikes actuallly tossing him to the bench??? I've heard they are dedicated to letting him play some this year with his sight restored
