Game Thread W1 - Tampa Bay V Seattle (1 Viewer)

Is Joey Galloway active for this game? I checked all sources and it appears he will play, but post any last mintue news here if you have it.

Cadi fumble after a hard hit by Deon Grant after cadi caught a pass over the middle. Seahawks with ball on 50.

 
Seahawks have no pass rush thus far but the secondary did a good job outside that long play. Garcia looking very comfortable.

 
2nd and 8 and they do a flee flicker which goes very bad (-10). Then they do the Holmgren and run the FB on 3rd and 18 out of FG position. Terrible.

They looked great for the first 18 minutes and then not so great in the last six. The line went from stiff to soft in two possessions. Weird.

Seriously as a Pats fan I was happy to get a 1st for him. I'll gladly take the scenario that unfolded that allowed the Pats to amass it's current WR corps. :thumbup:

Every Patriots fans should be ecstatic over that trade. Branch has never been that good, and the NE WR Corps is now probably the best it has been since Belichick arrived.

Yeah, you're right. How dare I point out how overrated a guy is, who has never gone for 1,000 yards and never scored more than 5 TDs in a season, despite playing with two of the best QBs in the NFL his entire career. Silly me. As for having something better to do, it is the first Sunday of football, genius. Excuse the hell out of me for wanting to talk football in the game threads. :football:

I have to agree with you, Branch is nothing more then an above average WR. Not even in the top 20 IMO. Pats got a steal here.... in comparison look what Welker did today and he was worth a 2nd round pick... key phrase is.. HE WAS WORTH IT, at least it looks that way right now.

And at the time wasn't Branch made one of the top 5 or 7 highest paid WRs? Just a silly trade for Seattle.
