Very catchable - if you know when they're coming and it's not a triple-pump fake followed by a bullet-pass within 5 yards of the LOS. Fortunately, tampa bay sucks ###. 3 and out for them, too, including a false start on 3rd and 12.
 
Poor interpretation of the new rule by the refs.

The new rule states it must clearly be a fumble and be clear who recovered it. It was clearly a fumble, but it was in NO WAY clear that Tampa recovered it. If anything on the replay it looked like Deuce recovered it and Ruud ripped it away after they were lying on the ground for a few seconds.

Learn the rules, refs.

 
Saints offensive playcalling looks really inspired today. Unfortunately it looks like it was inspired by Charlie Frye.

Brees has a "happy feet" look about him, and doesn't look anywhere near as comfortable as he did last yearBush is making all the same mistakes he made in the first half of last seasonMcCallister running without push, may have lost weightSaint receivers running 5 yard patterns on 3rd and 8Saint receivers dropping a lot of very important passesSaint coaching staff not taking advantage of what the defense is giving them, seem intent on forcing their gameplan down the defenses throats
 
Bucs trying to establish the run but can't get anything going. On third and long Saints stupidly blitz and allow Galloway to turn a short slant into a long TD!!!

 
Now, they are down by 14 to my beloved Bucs! Do they get Reggie the ball either way or do they continue to gingerly "pound" Duece? Abandon the run and get the damn ball to Reggie.....

 
boy the saints are playing some predictable offense.

pretty easy to defend if you know they wont throw the ball more than 6 yards down field.

 
Brees actually had time and on 3rd-and-long throws high to Colston who goes up and gets it for a first down.

One of the things the Saints did incredibly well last year was to not let things like this bother them. I just think that the Saints coaching staff has let this team down in a big way this year. The playcalling is just pitiful and shows a surprising lack of inspiration.

 
So of course right after I say the playcalling is uninspired, they have a great call to get a first down with the big FB

Bush is doing that happy-dance-running-sideways crap he did in the first half of last season. He still hasn't learned that he can't run a power sweep and hit the corner like he did against Arizona State.Edit: This is a Captain Obvious statement, but Bush is at his most effective when he's got space and he's running forward.
