Game Thread W3 - Minnesota V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Looks like Ahman Green and Benson both had good games, 4.5+ a carry. I know both were on the road, and now they will be fired up at their home opener at Arrowhead. But, have they shown anything that resembles an elite run defense? Any reason to be scared of starting a RB at Arrowhead?

Artis Hicks and Ryan Cook

Who will have more false starts at the end of the season? Only Satin knows.

Thats a TD all day.

What a BS call. IF thats the best that the replay system can do then we need to just get rid of it.

That was a TD. Although I agree with the ref's decision. How was there not a better camera angle? Awful. Liking what I'm seeing so far though as a Vikes' fan. Defense is stout per usual. ADP looks great. Holcomb has some tunnel vision but his throws are accurate.

How the hell do you agree with the refs decision if you think that was a touchdown??? :excited:

I think he caught it meaning it's a greater than 50 percent chance he did. The rules say it must be conclusive (i.e. 100 percent). The ref applied the rule correctly. And I think I may want to have sex with AD.

I want someone on the field to have sex with LJ completely against his wishes. The way he's screwing my team over, fair's fair. :hot: Is this Huard sucking, the OL sucking, or a great team effort??

Never fails.. Miss a Wide Open receiver for a TD and next play SACK.. :X

Very good possibility the Vikes could be up 21-3(if the refs had opened their eyes on that "non-TD" earlier).. instead 10-3.. :hot:

I have the over in this game. Talk about frustrating.

*****NEWSFLASH*****

This just in,,,Adrian Peterson is all that and a bag of chips.

Sucking in Ty Law and then running back and around the dude for a 10 yard gain to the outside. Finished off a reception with a head butt to KC safety Jarrad Page's chest for another couple. So far his stats are 19/98/1 on rushing and another 2/43 and fumble receiving and this is against a pretty good but not great KC def. I am definitely a believer now and if you're like me and have him in a keeper league then you've got the steal of this and next years draft.

!!!Rumble young man rumble!!!

Now I'm :lmao: .. Dang it!!

You haven't covered for 1 1/2 seasons.. Every time your bring 4 or 5 and try to cover you get killed.

Bring the pressure !!!

Griffith.. ever tackled??.. Oh well, at least they brought the pressure. If Griffith could tackle we'd be fine.

Huard throws it 5 yards out of bounds again. I feel like there are maybe 6 plays in the KC playbook.

Minnesota D is for real. First time I have seen them this year. If that offense comes around, look out.

This is a game of KC trying to use what they think is their strength (rushing) against MIN who at this point we know that their strength is their rushing DEF. Problem for KC rushing is that they have no OL (or so it appears) and the problem for KC passing is that they don't have quality WR's (Kennison is injured, Bowe looks great so far but he's a rookie and Gonzo is great whevever they decide to let him be a WR instead of leaving him in to block). Add in a conservative run first play calling and a QB with suspect arm strength and you've got a team that can't help but get down early in a game and then is forced to go to the air game or run the ball and use the DEF to keep games close but still a loss.

This is a mess for KC right now and it'll get worse (SD) before it gets better.

At this point as a KC fan, all I want to do is crawl under a rock and take a nap until the Croyle experiment begins.

BTW,,,when are we gonna see LJ catching some screen passes like Herm talked about in the preseason???

Anybody here wishing that we had traded LJ away for some draft picks now that could get us an OL and QB???

MIN rushing DEF is for real but everybody else in the NFL has been lighting up their pass defense,,,or has been forced to pass instead of run.

That makes sense; therefore, Edwards won't do it. Ditto for putting in Croyle or anyone else given that Huard is absolutely pathetic to shake things up.They used to talk about "Dungification" in TB. That pales in comparison to "Edwardification." God he's a pathetic coach.
