I hope this is true - same results as last week would be nice also..I'm hoping Andy Reid plays it straight for once and we get some definite news...My prediction is that he won't practice today or tomorrow but will participate on Friday. The Eagles will pretend that there's actually a chance that he won't play and then Westbrook will light it up on Sunday.
Over for the limit pleaseOver/Under on games before Westbrook is OUT: 5.
So His knee is fine?Brian Westbrook (RB)9/26: Brian Westbrook did not practice on Wednesday. He is dealing with an abdominal strain suffered in Week 3. "It's not by big strides that he's getting better, but he is making improvement," head coach Andy Reid tells the team's official web site. "It was important a day or two after the game that he wasn't regressing at all... We'll just see how he feels through these next couple of days." Westbrook played in Week 3 despite missing some practice time due to a sore left knee.
He definitely would have played. This whole thing is bull we should not even being paying attention. If you watched the game you would see nothing happened to the guy he just got tired. He is not going to practice all season get used to it. I honestly think not practicing him is the best thing that could happen. To add if flag football I would pick Westbrook before LT.Question is could he have and would he have finished the game last sunday if it was a close game? I say yes.
Brian Westbrook - RB - Eagles Brian Westbrook (abdominal strain) is listed as questionable for Week 4. He did not participate in practice at all during the week. He didn't even put in a limited workout Friday. This doesn't necessarily mean Westbrook won't face the Giants, but his status is in serious doubt. Correll Buckhalter will start Sunday night if Westbrook can't, with rookie Tony Hunt being a potential candidate for goal-line carries. Sep. 28 - 1:27 p.m. ET
In all likelihood, he'll play, at least based on past events. Of course, having him play Sunday night complicates things.doh Bart. do we have to wait till after the bye next week to see our guy again?gotta check in sunday morning/evening now...

http://blogs.phillyburbs.com/?p=18665Neither Brian Westbrook or Dawkins practiced yesterday and both are listed as questionable. The guess here is that with the bye week coming up and the Eagles off next week, both will play, although I think Westbrook is more likely than Dawkins and even that is not a lock.
“They are moving in a positive direction,” Reid said. “It’s just not as fast as you’d hoped.
