Game Thread W4 - NY Jets v Buffalo (1 Viewer)

Bizarre play. So is it legal to call a fair catch on a ball that bounces and the refs just missed it, or can you not do that (I would imagine it's the latter)?

The flag was thrown for the signal he gave after he had the ball.

 
LEE EVANS IS ON FIRE!!!!! Already has 6 yds. This could wind up being his biggest game of the year! :mellow:

Come on. I want 60 + TD since I started him.

If you call for a fair catch, the only thing you may do is catch the ball out of the air. Picking it up off the ground or blocking an opponent from downing the ball is a delay of game penalty.

That pass was the perfect example of why Pennington needs to be replaced. He simply doesn't have enough of an arm to be effective beyond 10 yards.

Huh? He was running at full speed on a fly route. It was a GREAT INT. If the pass was thrown a foot deeper its a TD. NOTHING Evans could do. Bad post.

Yeah sorry. I am a Jets homer, and agree Penninton has to go. Coles and Jericho have a good chance of ending up like that dude from Buffalo. Coles is the toughest man in the league. Anyone thinking otherwise doesnt watch Jets games on a weekly basis...

He's looked very solid, and frankly has played much better that Losman did in weeks 1 and 2. Nice TD by the way.He's had a tendency to bird-dog his receiver, but the guy's a rookie in first start so of course he's going to be rough around the edges.
 
I think it's inexcusable that somebody Michael Gaines has more catches than Marshawn Lynch. I'm not talking about the fourth down play that just happened, but why isn't Lynch being used on some of the flat passes that are going to Gaines?

Losman sucks. The guy plays like a 4th year rookie. The sooner this organization gets past him the better.
 
Thomas Jones is killing my team........I havent watched any Jets games but it seems that inside the 10 Jones gets no love at all and its normally pass plays???? now Leon Washington gets the TD? :thumbdown:

 
As a non-fan of either team, but since it's the only game on in NYC right now, I must say this is one boring game. I do think BUF might have found their QB of the future (and maybe the present), though. Edwards is better than Losman IMO.

It was a bad throw, but Mccareins didnt even make a play on it. God does he suck ###. why in the hell would you throw to him with coles and cotchery on the field?

 
Get pennington out of there, clemons should start next game..penn isn't giving them anything at all.

The guy had 32 completions and only 7 in completions. Give him a break, he is the ONLY bright spot on that NY Jets team.

i had just about decided to use washington as my drop for a bye week need and then he goes and scores a td. :lmao:i actually thought they had a chance to tie the game after that.
 
Big Chad backer in the past...the time has come for him to be replaced - give the kid a chance coach - cant do any worse- cant win with dink and dunks all game
