Game Thread W4 - Oakland V Miami (1 Viewer)

I was awaken to the sounds of thunder and some wicked lightning this morning...and a lot of rain here on Miami Beach. Jo Robbie stadium is inland a few miles and probably will get even more rain. 60% chance of T-Storms...I wouldn't start either QB really. I like the RB a lot on sloppy fields today.

TD Mike Williams, looks like it may be OPI.

Edit: TD nullified. Williams OPI. Looks like a #### call.

Mental note: Raiders throwing the ball on the goaline. After giving lamont a couple go's at it.

MIKE WILLIAMS is clearly part of the goal line passing package. I called it early in preseason. We can officially remove the experiment tag.

Does Culpepper look to be moving in slow-motion to anyone else? He's like the last one to get moving on every play.

 
Looked like Jordan took himself out of the game after that nice run. Fargas/Griffith in since then.

Didn't look like a particularly hard hit, but he was gimping a bit.

C-Pep is looking slow. Griffith in for Jordan and no detectable drop-off. Now Fargas in. Raiders go for it on 4th down. C-Pep scores on a sneak. Duante hasn't even looked good today yet he's got a TD pass and a rushing TD.

MIA looking like the worst team in football right now.

raider defense looks solid, all over the miami backfield. has this been the case all year or is this miami's anemic offense making them look good? first raider game on tv this year for me.

 
Nothing said so far about Jordan being dinged. I assumed OAK was giving him a break since he'd carried a lot on that long drive.

He carried the ball 4 straight times, it's normal for him to come out after 2-3 straight runs especially when they were big runs like he was getting.
 
Everybody needs to see Ronnie Browns TD run. He f'in destroyed the Safety. Literally bulldozed-steamrolled through and over the defender. Defender stood up-fell back- rolled all the way over onto his feet. And ronnie Brown is celebrating.

Not targeted yet...he is playing...it will come. But Lamont seems to be the plan of attack. Once Miami starts stacking the line. The wrs will get theirs. First Raider scoring drive was after an int on a very short field, less than 30 yards.

C-Pep tries to run for a 1st down after nobody open, stumbles and can't get around defender. Stopped short. His mobility appears gone.

Chambers wipes out important 3d down conversion for semi-spiking/slinging ball after catch. On replay of down MIA throws incomplete. Nice going Chambers. MIA goes for it on 4th and 7! OAK jumps offsides. On 4th and 2, Brown picks up 11. Kid's on fire now.
