pretty sure he made a short catch already, 6 yards or so...announcers were saying he's now caught a pass in 80+ straight games

Dont know...unless CBS sportsline is not correct, there isnt anything there, but as long as he is on the field, and not injured, Ill roll with it.

This is why the injury thread becomes useless by halftime of the early games every week...

Better question asked in the game thread.

Jordan being helped off the field by two trainers. He's walking very gingerly. Appears to be a back or hip issue.

Jordan now going to the locker room on a cart.

oh god please don't be serious...he was on his way to an easy 100 yard game...I hate fantasy football...unless he returns in the second half, in which case I love fantasy football again...please bring on the Jordan updates whenever you get them.

I need him back in there too, but I'm resigned to not seeing him again today. Couldn't walk off under his own power, then carted to locker room. Can't tell from replays if it was knee or a back flareup.

L. Jordan-looking at back-per announcers, first helped off field by trainers then carted

Did not look good. Perhaps knee?
I thought the same thing initially -- he hit the ground hard on his right knee and then rolled onto his right hip and just froze, grimacing in pain. But when the trainers carried him off (and they practically carried him) he seemed to be moving his knees and stepping down OK. It almost looked like he was trying to take the pressure off his back or hip by stepping down slightly.

Great, he can join Delhomme Ahman Green Boldin and Andre Johnson on my all-star team. Fantasy is 95% luck.

agreed, he was in obvious pain and needed a lot of help to get off the field. I wouldn't expect to see him back again today. My gut says that if they had a game next week, he wouldn't be playing.

Bears LT Tait out for the rest of the game with an ankle injury according to the game's sideline reporter.

Jordan -- looking at his back (per announcers)
Wow! He's looking at his own back? He is flexible! :bag:
Does anyone know what Jordan's original back injury was? Part of me is relieved it's not a knee injury...hopefully he'll be back in a couple of weeks after the bye...maybe this is just wishful thinking. Still, he was on his way to a great game today...
He first hurt it swinging a bat in preseason when a bunch of the players were involved in a home run hitting contest. No, I'm not joking.

Packers CB Al Harris heading to the locker room to get one of his hands x-rayed according to the game's sideline reporter.

Ya Smith took a sack early on.

The next thing I saw was before a time out Smith was sitting on a cart heading to locker room,

Havent heard anything yet from anouncers.
